Yay! My very first fanfic! Random one-shot involving HitsuKarin and pissing Ichigo off. FUN! Let's say Toshirou and Karin look about 20-ish; are married and Ichigo is still annoyed about Toshirou 'stealing' Karin. OK? So enjoy minna!

NIGHT-TIME IN SOUL SOCIETY

"Karin? Kaaaaaaaaarrrin...?"

"Nani?"

"Why so quiet?"

"Just thinking."

"About...?"

"What to name my baby."

"NANI?! YOU'RE PREGNANT?!"

"Calm down Ichi-nii"

"CALM DOWN?! HOW ON EARTH AM I SUPPOSED TO CLAM DOWN?! YOU'RE PREGNANT FOR KAMI'S SAKE!"

"Jeez, I would of thought you'd be happy to be an uncle." In the distance Ichigo is still ranting about how 'Shorty' got his 'baby sister' pregnant so soon.

"ICHI-NII! I'm not pregnant yet! I'm just wondering what I'll name him or her when I have a baby." Her words go unheeded while Ichigo yells out to all of Soul Society that he's 'gonna kill that midget' for getting Karin pregnant already. Someone yells at him to 'shut up so I can sleep'.

THE NEXT DAY

"Karin?"

"Hai?"

"Why didn't you tell me you were pregnant?"

"I'm not. I was just telling Ichi-nii that I was wondering what I'd name my child WHEN I'm pregnant."

"Unfortunately your annoying brother has told everyone that's he going to be an uncle. So now the Shinigami's Women Association has announced that we are going to be parents."

"Oh. How simply wonderful! NOT! Now I'm going to be chased around by everyone trying to give me presents for my non-existent child and offering congratulations and everything."

"By the way Ichigo's been chasing me around trying to kill me for getting you pregnant."

"I see, he said cough threatened cough he would when we were talking last night."

"By the way just wondering BUT what would you name him or her?"

"Mariko if it's a girl or Haruko if it's a boy. Mariko because her name means 'circle'. She'd be born from two different sides of a circle: living and soul; Haruko because if he's my first child then he'd be first born like his name means.

"I like the name Mariko."

"Good because Captain Unohana told me this morning that I REALLY am pregnant."

"That's ni- NANI?!"

"It's a girl if you'd like to know."
