A/N: I know it's been done before, but I was just musing around today. Didn't do any writing, will probably get down to it early tomorrow morning, but I've never done a Snape-in-Azkaban story. Something along the lines of that although he gave Harry his memories, the Ministry in determined to punish all death eaters and holds the line that those memories could have been doctored, so aren't proof of his innocence. Of course, Hermione and Harry would be working to get him released. I'll tell you how this scenario happened for me . . . a single imagined conversation:

Hermione put away the parchments containing Snape's statement, then looked at the wizard with concern in her brown eyes.

"Well, I'll go over these and see if I can find anything we can use. In the meantime, is there anything else I can do for you, professor?

Snape sat back in the wooden chair, studying the witch on the other side of the table thoughtfully before he answered.

" Yes, yes there is," he replied. "Since I am being held without bond and am not yet convicted, I have certain rights and privileges available that most inmates do not have. I would like, Miss Granger . . . a conjugal visit."

Hermione reddened a bit. He wanted a woman? She wondered how long it had been for him. Obviously long enough by his request.

"Ah, yes. I guess I could arrange that," she said, clearing her throat a bit as the gaunt wizard's black eyes rested on her, "I could go to Madam Yum-Yum's and arrange for someone to come visit you. Do you have . . . a preference?"

Snape's eyes glinted as he looked at the young woman.

"Yes, I do," he said softly.

"You."

A/N/N: I'm thinking the prosecutor could be someone who lost a loved one to death eaters, maybe a Muggle-born wife to a Revel. Something that would make him hate Snape and do everything he could to put him under Azkaban. He would be both a hated, but sympathetic character. Man, I hate how my mind runs off on tangents when I have so much to do already. Sigh.

But that "you" scenario is hot, isn't it? lol. Having sex with Severus Snape in Azkaban prison. ooh lordy. If she agrees that is. I think he'll give her a week to decide. No, he'll give her up to his final day in court . . . if he's convicted he'll never touch a woman again. She'd have to go to him before the verdict. Oooh. I like that. Maybe I'd even have Rita Skeeter find out about it and blast it across the pages of the prophet.
