Cam remembered what had happened with Claire like it was yesterday. He remembered telling her that the other girl was "just a friend." He remembered lying to her countless times. He remembered her believing him, and most of all, he remembered those quavering blue eyes of hers, when she had found out the truth.

Now that she's gone, he found himself missing her more and more. He found himself being sorry for his actions. He knew that he had hurt her, and he wanted to take it all away.
