Life had taken an interesting turn for Kazuki and Juubei. They had started out as friends, then moved on to being boyfriends, and now were busy with making their lives better. Of course, a new member had joined their family. Kazuki could see the joy in Juubei's eyes as their son played around with-- to their shock-- Akabane. Unlike most of the people in their group, their son didn't fear Akabane; he looked up to him, which caused worry for both parents. However, their son was also a kind and gentle soul, who cared for the well-being of others.

Keitaro was their new joy, and eternal miracle. From where he stood, Kazuki could see Akabane saying something to his son. All the while he hoped it was something good, but with Akabane, it was never sure. Juubei walked over to Keitaro and picked him up. There wasn't any protest from the young boy, which made Kazuki's eyes widen a little. He smiled at the scene and walked over to his husband and son.

"Have you tired yourself out, Keitaro?" he teased, kindness heavy on his voice. The young child nodded and embraced Juubei. "Juubei, do you want to eat? You've been busy with Ginji's kids and helping Toshiki move in, aren't you tired?"

Juubei shook his head. "You worry too much," he answered. Kazuki would have retorted that in their younger years, it was Juubei that always worried, but he smiled instead. "Besides, you should be resting, not me. Carrying our next child must tire you," Juubei said to him.

"Not today. I'm filled with too much joy to feel tired." He smiled at his family. "Toshiki is moving in, Ban and Ginji are coming back from the hospital with their fourth child, and Akabane has been very kind… It's an excellent day."

"Mother, you look very pretty today," Keitaro commented. At times that certain word would rile him up, but whenever Juubei or Keitaro said it, it made him feel loved. "Are you happy with the decorations?" he asked him.

Kazuki nodded. "It's perfect, Keitaro. You and Kurodou did an amazing job with the party decorations." Today he was getting older, but it was also a day that marked how happy they all were. Every single one of their friends were coming today, them and their ever-expanding family.

The man that still dressed in black approached him. "I'm delighted that you enjoyed our adorning. Well, then, it seems that our first guests have arrived." A familiar white car came to a stop in front of their house, which was in no time accompanied by other vehicles.

The smile that Kazuki wore could not have been better. It was a joyous day to be alive, with your family at your side.

The End.
