Disclaimer: I don't own Pokemon.

This is my first fanfic to I hope you enjoy.

" I love you, May." Ash Ketchum, youngest pokemon master, just spilled his feelings to the girl he loves. He waits in agony for her reply.

May is totally surprised. Her and Ash have been dating for years, but she had no idea he had felt this way. She was in such shock she couldn't even speak.

"Ash…I don't…I can't." This was all he needed to hear before turning around and running in the opposite direction. Tears were streaming down his face. Behind him he could hear may yelling, "Ash, stop please." Ash just kept running until he came to a tree and he sat down and buried his face into his hands.

May was chasing after him. She was terribly worried. She adnt meant for it to go like this. The truth was she didn't know what love is, so how could she say she loved him. She did know that she cared for him and didn't want to see hin sad. She ran until she saw a figure huddling under a tree. She got closer and recognized it as Ash. She sat next to him. "Ash…I didnnt mean to hurt you. Please look at me."

Ash looked up. He wasn't crying anymore, but his eyes were sad and far-away.

May looked into his eyes and saw how sad he was. She knew she needed to explain her feelings. "Ash, I'm sorry, but the truth is I don't love you because I don't know what love is. I do know that care about you a lot and I don't want to see you sad. I want to be there for you always and make you happy."

Ash looked deep into her eyes and he knew what she meant. "May, that's exactly how I feel about you." May was taken aback. "It is?" If he feels the same way I do, then maybe I do love him. If we sahre the same feelings and he loves me, then maybe I do love him. Yeah, I do. I love him, May thought. May looked into Ash's deep brown eyes and said, "Ash, I just realized. I love you too." With that they both leaned in so that they're lips touched and they shared the most passionate kiss as a couple. With this kiss they knew they're love would last forever.

The End

So.. What do you think? Constructive critisism welcomed, but no flaming the couple.

Review.
