Okay…so when I first saw Selphie in KH1 I thought she was like…seven…and that comes KH2 and she's like Kairi age..and it's all WTF! IT WAS ONLY ONE YEAR. But yeeah. And in the KH fandom world, Selphie character has been so developed and made. So I dunno, but like Marsi-face wanted SelphiexCloud for her prizefic which surprised me because that's so CRACKLESNAPPLEPOP. You know. I love it. But she's a very canon type of girl. But the idea of writing Selphie again made me squee and I had some uber AU ideas…but I thought making it abit canon was better (: I actually like this piece a lot, because Cloud is amazing though I LOVELOVELOVE Zach way more. I was upset when he wasn't in KH like you have no idea. And oh, the title was an eighties song which if you KNOW marsi like I know marsi you know she adores eighties music. Oh and I'm a review whore, so if you read this and like this you should review and if you read and don't you should anyways.

DISCLAIM THAT BETCH.

She reminds him about of her, what with her smiling face and tugging him along. Her brown hair much shorter than her own, but the color was the same. The main physical apperance, which always brought him back to earth – was her sparkling green eyes, so full with life. Then it occurrs to him, that she was Selphie, no other. It brought him down a bit, because she wasn't who she was suppose to be, though she couldn't help it – it's just what he was expecting.

"C'mon Cloud I wanna ride the ferris wheel!" she giggles with such child-like laughter, so innocent and naïve she doesn't know what the real world was like. And he wasn't about to let her go and see – so he let her drag him away from the world of heartless and darkness, just for a moment. It was like her own little neverland, he muses often, he would never let her see the other side of things. She grips his arm tight, as they went up, her eyes so full with excitement, but fear as well – it was the simple fear, not the type of fear that kept you up at night so he let it go. "Ah! I can't look, I can't look!" she squeals burying her face into his chest. He looks to see her peeking one eye out, to see if they've reach the top yet.

"Don't worry," he whispers. "I'll tell you."

She looks up at him smiling, "Kay." She whispers back, as if talking would ruin the spell. Even though they're were yelling down below, they were both so quiet. And he felt guilty because he kept thinking of her even though he was with Selphie – because it wasn't her fault she isn't the flower girl, and it isn't her fault that she was gone. No, that was all his. He closes his eyes, and felt her tug on his sleeve, he looks at her.

"You're not watching Cloud!" she teases him, acting childishly upset.

"Sorry," he put his forehead on hers, looking into her green eyes. "How can I make it up to you?"

The wheel stopped at the very top, but she didn't move . He didn't realize how close they were, he could feel her breath on his neck, and he could smell her. She smell like cotton candy, and vanilla. "You could kiss me."

He blink surprised, and then he did. It lasts forever, and if they didn't have to breathe, they could probably go on – but as the wheel moved, they broke away. She rested her head on his shoulder as the view disappears. "We miss it.." he comments, a smile on his face and she looks up at him.

"I've got all the view I want."

For the moment, he forgets about the flower girl, and all he could think about was Selphie. And her childish laugh, and how he would never let her go, how he wishes this moment on the wheel could live forever.
