Ahh, the ways we students manage to avoid homework.

So this is placed during Season 4, Episode 1, when Tim reads Diane's letter. I must say, I was quite saddened, I was hoping for them to make it work.

If you like/dislike/whatever my writing, please drop by and leave a review. It would make my day.

The paper burns your hand. Your eyes are scarred from the words on the page. You cannot bear to read it. You stop.

She's not coming back. How can she do this to you? What have you done to deserve this? Why isn't she coming back home? Why isn't she coming back to you?

You want her. You want things between you to be the way they almost were before the lies, before the pain. Now this fresh pain again creates anger, you don't want her anymore. These words on the page burn out the love you have for her, transforming it into love that you had for her. You burn the page, creating ash, creating hate.

You feel the loneliness. She's not coming back. Who is left here for you to love? Who else is your chance of delusion, to make you believe you're okay?

You feel betrayed. 'How dare she?' you ask yourself. Before she left, it was a kiss. Wasn't that kiss a promise? Wasn't it a vow? Wasn't she yours?

Or could it be that you're part of the hell she desperately wanted to escape? You were part of OZ, and she wanted more.

But you don't want that, you realise. You wanted her to stay down in hell with you, a comfort in the darkness.

And it makes you hate her.

You hate her for moving on and leaving you behind.

You hate her for finding happiness without you.

You hate her for escaping your clutches of misery.

The misery seems so much larger when she's not here to share the burden with.

You realise that she's dropped the weight of your misery back onto your shoulders. She's had enough of carrying it for you.

That's why she's not coming back.
