AN: I've been trying to update my story What Could it Hurt (Inuyasha fanfic) for a bit now, so for inspiration I started reading some fanfics again and the ones that really caught my eye were the Hidan x Sakura ones. This little one-shot popped in my mind and I had to get it typed. So I'm happy to say my writing/ imagination juices are finally pumping again.

It was after she had faced off against Itachi that Hidan realized he was obsessed.

They had been sent on a recon mission to find the whereabouts of the Akatsuki.

As luck would have it, or as Sakura cursed that she had no luck, they had run into non other than Itachi and Kisame.

The very targets they were supposed to watch but avoid at all costs.

She had trained against the sharingan she assured him before she launched her attack.

That left Hidan with Kisame. It was interesting to say the least how they reached several stalemates. And in one such stalemate as his scythe was blocking the Sameheda both parties seemed to notice what was going on around them.

Or for lack of better words what wasn't going on around them. The area had become eerily quiet.

Both Hidan and Kisame gaped a bit when they saw Sakura and Itachi staring at one another unblinkingly for over three minutes.

Suddenly they had simultaneously staggered backwards clutching at their respective heads.

Kisame yelled at Itachi asking, "Why the hell the kunoichi was still conscious?"

Still gripping his head as he eyed the pink medic, Itachi replied that he had "not considered the possibility that she was a schizophrenic." Thus, she could effectively "neutralize his attack and make her own."

Without so much as a word both Itachi and Kisame left the area.

Walking over to Sakura, Hidan checked her over for damage.

Finding nothing serious, he looked at her exhausted features. And not able to help himself, he had to ask if she was "seriously a freaking schitzo?"

With her sheepish nod, Hidan took on a dark look of intrigue.

Ever since that day, Hidan repeatedly told Sakura "He loved how fucking crazy she was."

He had also taken to constantly watching her.

Some said he was a stalker.

He said it was "None of their damn business."

So far, he'd learned:

The other being in her mind (if that made any sense) was named 'Inner Sakura.'

'Outer Sakura' would get a vacant look in her eyes and stare for long periods at seemingly nothing. This was when she conversed with 'Inner Sakura.'

Inner Sakura could be induced to come out by alcohol, stress, rage, and concussion. (There were other possibilities of course, but he was still in the experimental stages)

Inner Sakura was actually formed by Outer Sakura's repressed feelings.

Inner Sakura sought blood and vengeance.

Inner Sakura hit on him… a lot.

Outer Sakura told him to shut up when he brought it up.

Based on these facts Hidan admitted to himself that he was fucking obsessed with the broad (Or broads however you look at it).
