New poem fic. Don't know if it'll turn out good, but I just feel in the mood for writing poetry. Is that weird?
You Left Me Behind
You left me behind, what once was mine, you took when you left. To her.
You left me behind, when I went to the world beyond, in flames, on my own. Why didn't you come with me? What changed your mind?
You left me behind, when I gave you my touch, my kiss, my very being. I could envision our lives together. Instead, you happy with her, is what I was seeing.
You left me behind, when I came back to you, because what I saw you give her, only made me think 'This can't be true.'
You left me behind, when I gazed upon the art that was you two.
You left me behind, when you gave her your heart.
Not exactly one of my best works, but better than my last poem, yes? Well, review and continue to read my other stories. Also, help my story 'Can You Help Me?' reach 300 reviews!
Question Of The Day: Who thinks this poem could've been done one hell of a lot better?
With that said, Sayonara!
