Epilogue: Eleven Years Later:
Maxmillan Severus Tobias Snape strode through Hogwarts very much aware of how good looking he was. He was now seventeen and looking forward to his last year at Hogwarts. He was tall and looked similar to his father, he had the same black eyes and facial structure and his hair was jet back. Yet that was where the similarities ended, his hair was wavy and soft and though long he liked to wear it tied back. His nose was smaller and he was tanned and stocker than his father. He was very good natured and had a great since of humor thanks to his two uncles Remus Lupin and Sirius Black and his natural good nature.
He had had an interesting life so far, his mother had died when he was five and he had been raised by his father ever since. His father's childhood enemy had allowed him more than houseroom in his home and Sirius Black thanked him for helping him heal. Remus Lupin, a werewolf had been his tutor until it was safe enough for him to go to a muggle primary school. When he was eleven he had been sorted to Ravenclaw and it was the perfect house for him to be sorted to. He was very, very smart and his favorite classes were Arithmancy, charms and transfiguration. He was very good at potions but he liked Arithmancy the best. As it was summer break he was clad in mostly muggle attire, jeans, dark brown heavy buckled dragonskin boots and a black ACDC tee shirt.
He had two sisters now, Eileen and Eva, two bright young girls that were eight years younger than he was. He could hardly believe they would start Hogwarts next year with little Teddy Lupin, Dora and Remus Lupin's child. They looked a perfect blend of his parents, for he saw Charity as his mother, due to the house elf in his youth saving his life he did not fully remember his biological mother. He never would, the house elf did not do what he did to hurt Max but to help him and unfortunately his help had led to Max loosing much of his early memories, though he still in some way knew death at a young age and still saw theserals. His sisters had black wavy hair and brown eyes. They were twins and as such they could be real terrors. Still he loved them and always would. He came on a normal sight, Severus and Sirius arguing yet again, they were friends but did this more often than not.
"No you stupid flea bitten inbred mutt!" Severus snapped, "that would not work, we cannot write a bunch of children's stories so that the muggles find all about us."
"They will one day as it is." Sirius replied, "what better way than through stories that are mostly true?"
"Most of the time he is not right, but he makes since this time." Harry said walking up, he was here as he liked to pop into Hogwarts now and again. "But why would it have to be all about me?"
"Well you are the brat-who-lived." Severus replied.
"Yea there is that, but that was a miracle more than anything else, nothing I did." Harry replied. "But why not the Severus Snape tales?"
"Harry Potter does have a ring to it." Sirius said draping an arm over Harry's shoulder, "think about it, it could be grand."
"Yea sure, what do you think Max?" Harry asked the younger man.
"I could work, why not?" Max replied.
This was an old argument, one that had not yet been resolved and probably never would be. The muggles probably would find out about the magical world but to write books might be the way to go about it. Severus and Sirius were divided greatly on this and would be for some time. Harry would leave them to it, he had the headmaster to see, he was retiring as he wanted to travel the world one last time and McGonagall was going with him. Neville was taking over as head of Gryffindor as he was a perfect fit. The headmaster post was still up in the air at that time and would be for a while yet.
Harry was married now and had three young children at home, James Sirius, Charlus Severus and Lily Minerva. He had married Ginny and they got on very well and were very good for each other. Ron and Hermione had wed, he had worked very hard and investing his money wisely into his brothers' shop he had earned enough money to build Hermione the home of her dreams, he was really a charming four bedroom house with a large library added on. He was the one who stayed home with the children while Hermione worked, it had nearly caused a scandal but with the book Ron put out on called The Life and Times of Ron Weasley the House Husband people were moved to laugher and acceptance. That book had sold so well he was penning another one while Hermione was working in the magical being office and had penned her first book The Care and Culture of the House Elf, it was a best seller.
Life was as good as it could get, Harry was well loved and had lots of real family around him. His so called relations he had grown up with would never bother him again, the only one he got on with was aunt Marge and though she could be a loud course woman he loved her as she accepted him fully. She could be pushy, always telling him to treat Ginny right, to not favor one child over another, to wear a scarf in the cold, to carry an umbrella, and on and on, like a mother would. Then again she would never have a chance to be a mother and so mothered him, and would spoil him too. Who knew that just after his third year of Hogwarts he would now have so much family, love and hope that he was content. His scar too had not hurt in years and that make him the happiest of all.
The End.
