Tifa shivered while watching five men walk towards her through the snow. She recognized two of them. The Turk that was tailing was the boss of Reno, Rude and Elena, though his hair was much shorter and pulled back into a ponytail. The other man was young and leaded the party with a cadet at his side. He talked a lot and seemed to constantly grin.

"Should you be here?"

Tifa turned around quickly while raising her fists defensively. "What do you want?" she demanded, and then blinked confusedly when she realized that she had just been looking at him hundreds of meters away in the other direction.

"Oh, I didn't recognize you," the man said with a happy laugh. 'It's been a while. Now let me see if I can remember; Tara, right?" When her frown told him he was wrong, he began tossing names out. "Terry? Trini? Tisha?" Each time he said another name he became more desperate.

"It's Tifa," she said slowly, recognizing the man from the illusion Sephiroth had conjured not long ago. "You're Zack, right?"

"Righto," Zack replied cheerfully, and then as though he suddenly remembered something, he pointed ahead to the leaders of the group. "We're talking about where we were from. Can you believe he's never heard of Gongaga?"

Tifa smiled faintly. She hadn't heard of Gongaga before she and her friends happened upon it on their way to Cosmo Canyon only a couple of weeks earlier. "Who is he?" she asked.

Zack looked curiously at her, and then smiled. "Some kid from Nibelheim. He's going to do great things, though."

Tifa looked quickly at Zack. "Nibelheim?"

Zack's smile became gentler while thinking. "He's a bit lost right now."

"Lost?"

He looked at her thoughtfully. "Don't worry. You'll get to meet him once he finds his way."

Tifa looked confusedly at Zack for a moment, and then looked back to the cadet. She tensed as he reached for his helmet, but as he removed it the dream faded to black.
