A/N: Hello there! This kind of just popped into my head. Im grounded right now, so the only thing I've been doing is reading manga and doodling. xD But anyway, I was sitting here looking at my cat, and talking to my friend on Gaia, then all of a sudden 'hmmm, what if Zetsu had a cat….'
I don't know. I blame it partly on my pencil that smells like bubblegum. Yum

Summery: Zetsu stared at the creature, then back at the woman holding it, not even 2 feet away. What the heck was she thinking?
I hope you enjoy this oneshot, though I think it may be slightly short. xD
'What is that…?'
The thought echoed through his head, both sides of himself perplexed and slightly worried for her sanity. He stared at the furry little creature, not sure what to say.
It was small, barely bigger then his hand, and did he mention furry? Oh kami, so much fur! He could already picture the loads upon loads of cream and blacked colored strands covering his cloak.
Not to mention on his other personal items. But… don't cats eat plants? He paled slightly at the thought. Not his babies! He knew how long it would take to re-grow them.
The plant-like man was brought out of his thoughts by a tug on his cloak sleeve. He glanced into a pair of bright blue eyes, filled with anticipation, and a touch of fear.
Oh, maybe she took his long pause of silence as rejection? The black and white man watched in cleverly hidden distaste as the cat's two tails twitched in- wait, two??
He looked the cat over, noticing she did indeed have two tails. Leave it to Kagome to get something as weird as her. He was sure glad none of the others were there to see her strange display of kindness.
Sighing, Zetsu realized that while he had been thinking the black-haired girl had been rambling on about the two-tailed feline.
"-and she's even house trained! She's a very good watched dog…cat, the best." He
sweat dropped at her child-like personality. "Oh and her name is Kirara!"
Kagome shoved the cat closer, until her bright red eyes were parallel with Zetsu's own gold-yellow ones. She opened her mouth again, probably to try convincing the man in front of her, but Zetsu cut her off.
"Yes well, as nice as she seems, Im not rea-" Zetsu began, but quilt flooded him as his companion's shoulders slumped in defeat. "Um, I mean… Im not ready! Yeah! Don't cats require a type of food and what not…?" A nervous smile found its way on his face as he stumbled over his words.
Kagome beamed up at him though, and brought up her fingers to count off. "Good! Well, I have the food, toys, carrier, even those cute little cat houses! Oh, and a book on cats for a first time owner."
Zetsu watched mutely as the slightly insane girl nodded, pleased with her list. She put Kirara on the floor and ran from the room, presumably to gather her list of things. He turned back to look at the feline, Kirara was it, who was staring back at him. Her tails were waving to and fro.
She seemed to be having some kind of inner conversation with herself, (It was crazy he was sure of it) but then 'resolving it' and jumping….
Right on his head.
The plant man stood still, directing his annoyed glare at the two tails hanging lazily before his face He gave up, not liking having to glare cross-eyed, and kept his mouth closed as it made a sort of 'twinkling' "mew".
'To bad she didn't get me a guinea pig….'
