Unfaithful

An angsty drabble for one of my fav. pairings; this is for Forde, who has always made amzing KyleForde fanfics, and whose writing on the pair I aspire to.
The dark sky of night was his cover at the late hour, his robe pulled tightly around him for warmth. He opened the door of his, their bedroom, turning to see Lute lying asleep in their bed, undone hair spread across the mattress. He sighed, his heart giving a slight jerk at seeing the mage lying there so innocent and vulnerable. However, he pushed this thought from his mind, turning and exiting the room. He closed the door behind him slowly, and walked quickly down the hall.
He found the room he was looking for several halls down, pulling out a key and unlocking the door. He slid into the room, seeing the one he truly loved lying there in bed naked, the blankets over only his lower half. Kyle slid off his robes to reveal a bare, chiseled body. The knight walked over and slowly shook Forde awake. The blond gasped and his eyes shot open; however, when he saw that it was Kyle, he didn't say anything.
The blond knight provided the other with what he wanted; sex. Forde never made any noise during the slow process; he allowed Kyle to take his body any way he wished. The green-haired knight always ended up groaning, though the other's name never escaped his lips during their affair. As their movements intensified, sweat covered the sheets and Forde's fist tightened around Kyle's hair, the green-haired man gripping Forde's body tightly, almost painfully.
The two collapsed against one another as they fell from their climax, Kyle rolling out of bed and pulling on his robes. He looked down at Forde, who looked up at him in pain. He knew how much the blond wanted this to mean something; how much he loved Kyle. But the green-haired knight just couldn't do it. If he loved Forde, then it would be looked down upon by all of Renais; two knights in love, what a joke it would be!
So Kyle reached out slowly and caressed Forde's cheek for a brief moment, the only sign of affection he could ever muster. He turned quickly and slid out the room, leaving the other man behind. He headed back down the stretching hallways as he did every night, opening his bedroom door and sliding into the bed with his wife. The mage turned in her sleep and cuddled against him, his heart giving a slight tear, and a single tear sliding down his cheek.
No matter where he was, with Lute or Forde, he would hurt all three of them. He didn't love Lute the same way he said he did every day. He couldn't show his affection to Forde for fear of being cast out of his homeland. Either way, he would always be unfaithful.
