Sakuno finally gained the courage to write a letter to Ryoma confessing her love. But to give him the letter, that was different.

It was now or never, she told herself.

Making sure that nobody was around, she carefully slipped the letter into Ryoma's locker.

I hope he don't throw it away, she thought, if he does…..

She sighed. Never mind, it was worth the risk.

Slowly, she walked to her next class, English.

Ryoma opened his locker to find thousands of love letters pouring out. Sigh, he thought.

To read or not to read, he thought for quite a while.

His conscience told him to at least give those love-sick girls a chance.

Carefully, he opened one letter after another.

Ryoma-sama,

You are super kawaii!! I hope to marry you someday…..

Love,

Mizuka-chan

Ryoma-sama,

I love you so much!! Be my boyfriend?

XOXO

Tamiki-chan

After reading all those be-my-boyfriend, marry-me and I-love-you letters, he finally came to one that did not start with a Ryoma-sama.

Ryoma-kun,

The percentage of you reading this letter would be 14, Inui-senpai told me. So, if you are reading, here goes-

You have been a great friend to me, waiting for me everyday after school, walking me back home.

I never had the courage to say this to you, but since I'm going to New York tomorrow, I'll just keep this letter short and get to the point.

I really like you.

Ryuzaki Sakuno

A small smile crept onto the prince of tennis' face. He knew a long time ago that Sakuno had a huge crush on him. Secretly, he liked her too. Too bad, she's going away the next day.

He folded the letter and put it back into the envelope. Then, he threw away the other letters since there's no point reading it anymore. He found what he was looking for. He reread the letter Sakuno gave him. He missed something before.

P.S. I'll write when I'm in NY.
