Kaien: Yay, fourth story in the Konoka's Galaxy Series!

Naruto: Four already?

Nuriko: Well, that makes five total, including Blvd of Broken Dreams.

Kaien: I walk this lonely road, the only one that I have ever known…

Nuriko: Is your singing like a super power or something?

Kaien: Why?

Nuriko: Cause it put Naruto to sleep.

Naruto: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ…

"OMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSH!! SECCHAN! WAKE UP!"

Setsuna sat bolt upright as Konoka's voice invaded her dream. "Wazzat? Who likes syrup?"

"Not syrup, Secchan! WAKE UP!" Konoka bounced into the swordsman's bed and Setsuna struggled to free herself from the covers. "Why, I'm tired, Kono-chan."

"But Secchan, Mars is going to be more visible than ever tonight! I want you to come see it with me!"

Konoka watched the swordsman turn over once more, fall to the floor, then fight to her feet. "Tonight? You want me to go with you?"

Konoka giggled. "Who else, silly? Will you come?" Setsuna nodded. "I'd love to."

As the healer ran out the door, humming merrily, a thought crossed Setsuna's mind, unbidden. 'Where did I go right?'

"See you later, Asuna!"

"See ya, Konoka!" The healer dashed down the stairs and glanced around for her friend. "Secchan!"

Setsuna stepped out of the shadows and smiled at the shorter girl. "Ready to go?"

"Yeppers!" The pair walked to World Tree hill and sat among the huge roots.

"So where's this planet at?"

"Oh, look it look it!" Setsuna followed Konoka's gaze and saw, seemingly floating above them, a giant red ball. "Wow, it looks like it's on fire!"

"Aren't you glad you came?" Konoka smiled. Setsuna blushed. The healer stood and stepped on top of one of the roots. "You know what I think would look really cool, Secchan?"

"What would that be?"

"If you spread your wings, right now. The red light would look awesome."

Setsuna joined her princess on the root. "Is that an order?"

"A request."

"As you wish." Setsuna's brilliant white wings spread and the red light shone off of them.

"Ooooh, pretty." As Konoka stepped forward to admire and touch the reddened feathers, Setsuna realized just how close they were. Their faces were only inches apart.

"Kono-chan…"

"Hm?" The healer looked up to find the swordsman had closed the distance between them. Pulling Konoka close, so that the smell of her shampoo was in her nostrils, the image of her wide, surprised, eyes fixed in her brain. "Kono-chan…"

Their lips met as Mars' red light bathed the Tree in its ethereal glow.

Konoka, surprised at first, stiffened. Then her body melted against the more muscular girl's. After what could have been forever, or just a few seconds, Setsuna pulled back.

"I'm sorry. I-I don't know what—"

"Secchan?" The swordsman was afraid to meet her eyes. 'I've ruined it. We finally became friends and I ruined it again. She'll hate me now.'

"I love you too."

Setsuna's head snapped up. Konoka's face bore the warmest smile she had ever seen.

"That's what you were saying when you kissed me, right?"

Setsuna nodded.

"Well, I love you too, Secchan."

The healer pushed up on her toes, to once again touch lips with the swordsman as the blood red planet burned above them.
