Welcome Back

Beeep! Beeep!

"Goddamn alarm." Raven muttered to herself under her breath. She transported down to the Teen Titan's common room, still in her lotus position. "Who is it this time?" She asked in her monotone voice, which still, Robin noticed, sounded soft and caring.

"Someone new. I cant tell anything about them from here. But he's robbing the jewelry store down on King's street." Cyborg answered.

"Raven, I want you to transport us all there. We don't know how fast he will be able to get away. Titans GO!!" yelled Robin. The Titans surrounded Raven as her black aura glowed around, capturing them in its mist. Coldness washed over them and as quickly as it had come, it vanished.

"Ahh…the Teen Titans." A deep male voice came from behind them.

(Robins POV)

I spun around, next to me Raven did the same. I glanced at her. The moonlight encased her features making her dark lavender hair shine and her pale skin glow. "Why am I thinking like this? Right now? We are supposed to be fighting!" I glanced back at Raven. She had a look of confusion on her face. "Who are you?" I yelled.

"You don't know? I would have thought Raven would have told you already." The man calmly spoke back as Raven's confused look deepened. "Don't you remember me…my little bird? The person said as he stepped out of the shadows. Raven gasped.

"Markus" She whispered.

"Good girl. I knew you would remember."

(Normal POV)

Raven scowled.

"You don't seemed too pleased to see me, do you?"

"Lets just say that if you had died I wouldn't have been too upset." Raven replied to the guy called Markus. Despite the nervous expression on her face, Raven still stood her ground.

The man she had called Markus had black hair that reached the bottom of his ears and that spiked up naturally, in such a way that made it obvious he didn't use hair gel. He had pale skin almost as pale as Raven's, but not quite.

Raven finally came to her senses. "Azerath Metrion Zinthos!" she shouted. Black energy shot out and surrounded Markus, who did nothing except chuckle.

"Nice try little bird, but I thought you knew better then to do something like that." he said as he stepped out of the energy encasing him. He smiled as he said that, walking towards Raven who looked even more confused then ever and a little something else…scared…desperate even? Robin didn't know. Markus stopped right in front of Raven and kissed her. On the lips. Robin didn't know what it was he just all of a sudden felt like ripping Markus to shreds. Markus stepped away from Raven, waved a couple of fingers and was gone.

Raven put her finger tips to her temples. Massaging her temples she said, "Ill see you back at the tower." And was gone. The rest of the team stared at the place Raven vanished in a stunned silence.

"Ahhhh man! Now we have to walk home!" yelled Beast Boy, breaking the silence.

"No man. You see, we have to walk home. You can fly." Cyborg replied, gesturing to him and Starfire. They ended up being carried home by Starfire, who was talking about everything having to do with anything, and Beast Boy who couldn't talk in his animal forms, thank God. Cyborg was talking about a new video game he had recently come by. Robin on the other hand was thinking about Raven and the guy Markus. He was sure Raven knew him from somewhere. He was going to find out where.
