Hello! Surprise Surprise! So yeah, it's been two years! I'm so sorry guys but I'm going to be quite frank; I've just lost interest in this story. I know you love it, but it's a right down mess! It needs to be rewritten. The grammar is terrible and the plot is just all over the place. I started this when the only thing I had was my love for this couple and sadly you need more for a good story. Anyhow, I decided to do this now because I have actually gotten a few reviews lately asking me to update this (I send all my love to you guys for sticking with me and this story still) and it didn't feel right leaving you with just an author's note telling you I don't know what to do with this piece anymore. While chapter 21 is far from ready, I think you do deserve a treat. So down below you have the continuation of the cliffhanger ending last chapter. I do hope it's some sort of comfort. We'll see if I do get the urge to continue this in the future, maybe I will. But for now, please enjoy. And thank you so much for your reviews and support to this point, you are truly the best!

"Seiya, I…"

Usagi looked at the man whom she had become so close to and the look of complete defeat that covered his face. He didn't expect anything of her; rather he truly believed this would be goodbye.

Would it? It was something Usagi wondered herself. A moment ago, in the midst of the feelings of betrayal and her feelings for Seiya, the future she'd been told about couldn't have felt less important. Though, when he stopped her... When he gave her a chance to let everything sink in it didn't feel that obvious anymore. She realized her actions had been hasty. Yet she still hesitated at telling Seiya that.

She met his eyes and saw insecurity. What's taking her so long? Why can't she just tell me already? He seemed to wonder. Usagi opened her mouth at last.

"You're right."

If Seiya had looked dejected before that, after she uttered those words she could really see how he shut down. It was frightening and she placed her hand on his arm, as if fearing he'd disappear before her eyes if she didn't hold onto him.

"Seiya, please…" She began, but he interrupted her.

"It's OK Odango." A small smile was playing on his lips, but his gaze was empty, like he didn't really see her. "I knew it'd come to this. I guess you need to go back to them now."

He moved away from her hand. Usagi suddenly felt frustrated, she moved to him and tiptoed for her lips to meet his. Seiya's eyes widened at the sudden act but he didn't pull away.

"Would you let me finish?" Usagi said once she broke the kiss.

Speechless, he nodded and she was happy to see he didn't seem as absent anymore.

"You were right. I didn't think this through…But!" She stopped him as he was trying to turn away. "I came over here for a reason. I really do have feelings for you Seiya. I've found myself wishing things were different. That you were just a boy and I just a girl, just two people without any duty weighing down our shoulders." She sighed and gave him a hug. "You're not the only one wishing that we would've met first..."

She felt Seiya lift his arms, and she waited for them to embrace her back. However, instead they grabbed her shoulders and she was shoved away from him. Losing her balance by the strength of the push, she fell back onto the couch. Seiya turned away from her questioning gaze.

"You should leave."

Usagi blinked in confusion, but made no attempt to get up. "Seiya what are y-"

Seiya spun around, his eyes unusually shiny, like he was on the brink of tears, but voice fierce as he spoke to her. "You can't say those things, OK? You can't tell me things like that when you're going to leave me here and go back to him."

"Bu-"

"No buts!" He silenced her again, looking at her with a painful expression. "I love you, Odango. More than anything…"

His agitated feelings filled his body with restlessness and he started pacing as he continued to speak "Hearing you confess how you wish things could be different, only to be so painfully aware of how they won't. I can't listen to that, not when I have to watch you walk away at the end of the day."

"Then I won't."

"No it doesn't matter what you-" Seiya froze, staring at Usagi with wide eyes. "-What did you say?"

Usagi got up slowly, moving cautiously in case Seiya were to push her down again, but since he made no attempt to stop her, she walked up in front of him.

"I said that I won't walk away. I won't go back to them... to him."

Seiya shook his head in disbelief. "You don't mean that."

He was waiting for her lips to break out into a sad smile, for her eyes to shed new tears. Anything to remove that serious façade she was putting up, to reveal the sick joke he was sure she was playing on him. But it never came. Instead she brought up both of her hands to cup his face and said.

"You want proof?"

Before Seiya could even think of replying, her lips was pressed to his own, making it impossible anyway. Usagi moved away from his lips and trailed her mouth to his ear where she whispered

"I won't let you push me away this time."

It was very seductive, though Seiya understood even the deeper meaning to it. He gulped, suddenly feeling nervous. His heart was racing with excitement but he tried to appear cool. So he faced Usagi with a steady gaze and with his trademark smirk, he said

"Well then, Odango, I'll make sure to hold you to those words."

Usagi's let out a surprised yelp as he scooped her up, but she hugged him tightly and buried her face in his neck as she let him carry her away to his bedroom.

So there you go! Finally a good moment for these two, sort of... well the end was at least. If I do update I will just edit this and put the rest of the chapter below it. Until then, take care!
