A/N: I know this is cheesy, full of mistakes, and horribly written but I DON'T CARE! I'm so fucking happy right now I can't think straight….you want to know why?

On another board, Kassie showed us a recent article, telling us that they now know how to stop AIDS.

That's right! THERE'S A CURE FOR AIDS!!!

The article link will be at the top of my profile. If the site is pissy and does not allow links, then I'll email the article to whoever wants it.

Thank God! And Thank Jonathan Larson!

"So…what do you guys wanna do??" Collins mumbled, taking a sip of coffee. He carefully set his cup on the ground and straightened up, returning to reading his newspaper.

Angel leaned his head on Collins' shoulder, sighing happily. Mimi and Roger were sitting on the bench beside Angel and Collins. Mimi made an adoring face at them, while Roger rolled his eyes, smirking slightly.

"I personally don't care, honey. It's so nice out…."

Collins smiled a little. He tore his eyes from the words he was reading when Maureen, who was sitting on the ground on some coats with Joanne, Mark, and Benny, nearly knocked his cup over.

"Hey, watch that, Mo!"

The drama queen turned her head to look at Collins. "Well, excuuuuuse me! The story I'm telling happens to require big hand expressions…."

Collins visibly went a few shades paler as he was staring at the paper….he didn't even listen to Maureen. His hands began to shake as he held it.

"Uh…anything wrong, Collins??" Maureen raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, my God….oh, my God….oh, my fucking God….." Angel, who was reading the paper over his shoulder, went wide eyed.

"What's the matter you guys??" Joanne was looking at them now, very concerned.

Angel impulsively wrapped his arms around his still shocked lover, kissing him on the cheek.

"Honey…oh, my God! This means…." Angel could say no more. He broke off, burying his face into Collins' shoulder, sobbing uncontrollably.

"Okay, you guys are really starting to scare me…" Mark tilted his head.

"Yeah…." Benny nodded in agreement with the filmmaker.

Tears still streaming down his face, Angel snatched the paper from his lover. He thrust it at Mimi and Roger, who looked just as confused as the others.

"Read it!!" He demanded, his voice raw with emotion.

Mimi held the paper with Roger looking over her shoulder, a skeptical look on her face. That expression gave away to one of shock and then…pure joy. Roger was having a similar reaction, he began to shake….tears were also coming to his eyes.

Finally, the paper fell onto the grass because Mimi's hands were shaking so badly. She didn't need it anymore….the tears blinded her.

Angel promptly attacked her in a bear hug, sniffling into her shoulder. "Oh, chica….you know what this means?? Oh, my God!!"

Mimi hugged Angel back, now sobbing rather loudly. "Yes! Thank God….thank God…."

"I never thought I'd live to see this…" Roger admitted, his voice husky and shaking.

"What is it???" Maureen whined impatiently. She snatched the paper up from the grass and began to flip through…..

"They found a cure for AIDS." Collins smiled at her, his heart pounding. He couldn't breathe. "They did it. They found a cure…."

The four bohos sitting on the ground went bug eyed.

"THEY WHAT???" Maureen screeched. Joanne, Benny, and Mark crowded around her, trying to read.

"It's true, sweetie." Angel nodded. "We aren't joking."

Expressions of shock and joy began to register on their faces as they scanned the article.

"You…" Maureen whispered. She peered at her friends on the bench, her eyes misting over with tears.

Joanne, Mark and Benny were struck dumb. The filmmaker opened his mouth to speak, but no words would come out.

Angel nodded at Maureen, knowing what she was about to say. The Latino burst into a fresh wave of tears, clinging onto Collins as hard as he could.

"We're free, honey!"
