Disclaimer: If CSI: Miami was mine, Rick Stetler would have existed only to get his ass kicked by Horatio.
"Caine," Lieutenant Horatio Caine answered his ringing phone.

"Uncle Horatio?" came the scared reply.

"Ray? What's up?" Horatio asked.

"Rick's here again," Ray said. "I can hear mum begging him to stop and crying."

"Ok Ray, where are you?" Horatio asked.

"In my room," he said.

"I'm on my way," Horatio said. "Do not leave your room under any circumstances you got it?"

"Yes Uncle Horatio," Ray said. Horatio hung up and ran out to the break room.

"H what's wrong?" Calleigh Duquesne asked him.

"Ricks at Yelina's place," Horatio told her. "Ray can hear her begging him to stop and crying."

"We're all going," Eric Delko said.

"Definitely," Calleigh agreed.

"Then let's go!" Horatio exclaimed.

A few minutes later they were all pulling up to Yelina's house. Horatio was the first out and he ran to her door.

"Yelina, are you there?" he yelled banging on the door.

"Horatio, please help," Yelina sobbed from inside.

"Stand back sir," one of the uniforms that had come with them said. Horatio moved and the uniform kicked the door in. Horatio was inside in an instant, holding his gun up. Calleigh and Eric were right behind him.

"Step away from her Rick," Frank Tripp said, entering behind them. Rick Stetler smirked and moved away from Yelina. Frank went straight to him while Horatio moved straight to Yelina's side.

"Yelina are you all right?" he asked softly.

"I'm fine," she whispered back. "What about Ray?" Horatio turned to Calleigh.

"Can you go and get Ray?" he asked. "I told him to stay in his room." She nodded and went up stairs. The paramedics hurried into the room.

"We need to take her now Lieutenant," one of them said. Horatio nodded and moved away. Yelina grabbed his hand.

"Its okay Yelina," he told her. "I'm just going to sort some things out here and then Ray and I will meet you at the hospital."

"Ok," Yelina said softly and reluctantly let go of his hand. The paramedics moved her out just as Ray came flying down the stairs. Horatio just managed to catch him.

"Its ok," he told his nephew. "Yelina's safe and once I finish up here we'll go and see her."

"Its ok, you go," Calleigh told him. "Eric and I can deal with everything here."

"Are you sure?" Horatio asked.

"Yes, just go already," Calleigh said.

"Thanks Calleigh," Horatio said as he and Ray left.

At the hospital Horatio stopped at the front desk.

"Can you tell me what room Yelina Salas is in?" he asked the receptionist.

"Yelina Salas is in room 304," the woman said.

"Thank you," Horatio said leading the way down the hall. Outside room 304, he stopped and knocked.

"Come in," Yelina's voice called. Horatio pushed the door open and he and Ray entered.

"How are you feeling?" Horatio asked.

"Fine, thanks to you," she said holding her arms out to Ray.

"Actually it was thanks to Ray," Horatio said sitting down next to her. "He was the one who called me." They made small talk for the next half hour before Yelina insisted on Ray going to school.

"Thank you again for helping today," she said once he had gone. "I appreciate it."

"Don't worry about it," Horatio said. "Listen I should probably go…"

"Alright," Yelina said. Horatio got up and went to leave the room. HE had just gotten to the door when Yelina called:

"Horatio wait!" Horatio turned around.

"Horatio don't leave," she begged. "Please." Horatio turned and walked back to her side.

"I'm not going anywhere," he said bending down and kissing her firmly on the lips.

A/N: First CSI: Miami fanfic that I have written. I'm a Horatio/Yelina girl right round so I had to write a story for them. I hope you liked that and as always please read and review. By the way, its a one-shot
