It was their little secret…
Shot of Sharpay sat in class, pans to a shot of Gabriella sat in the same class at a different desk.
No-one knew…
Shot of Gabriella and Sharpay at lunch, camera pans down to show that underneath the table they are holding hands.
But what happens when the secret gets too big to keep?
Troy sits next to Gabriella in homeroom.
"Where were you last night?"
"Out."
"Where? With Sharpay?"
Gabriella looks down, away from Troy before trying to walk away.
"Answer me!"
They both know it was wrong…
Sharpay pins Gabriella up against the wall, kissing her passionately.
"Sharpay."
Gabriella pulls away. Sharpay tries to follow her lips.
"Sharpay, this is wrong."
Sharpay lets go of her and walks out of the cupboard.
But they both can't stop…
"Sharpay."
Gabriella and Sharpay lie in bed, a sheet covering both their bodies. Sharpay turns her head to look at Gabriella.
"Promise you'll never leave me."
Sharpay reaches with her hand to intertwine their fingers.
"I promise."
Then something always gets in the way...
Gabriella stands in front of Sharpay, yelling at her.
"How could you do this to me?!"
"Oh and you're allowed to do the exact same thing to me every single day?!"
Gabriella storms out the room, leaving Sharpay fuming.
What happens when the secret isn't a secret anymore?
Troy stands there, blocking Gabriella's path. She tries to get past him and he grabs her arm, pulling her towards him.
"Don't walk away from me!"
He pushes her against the wall and kisses her. She doesn't kiss back.
What happens when they realise what they lost?
Shot of Sharpay sitting in her dark room, her room trashed around her.
Shot of Gabriella starting at a razor blade, thinking about how inviting it looks.
Will they get each other back?
Gabriella is stood sat at a table in the cafeteria with Taylor, Kelsi, Martha and Chad. She notices everyone is looking past her and she follows their gazes over her shoulder. Sharpay is stood up the stairs in a tailored suit with a black trilby hat atop her straight blonde hair.
Or will things get in the way?
Shot of Troy, clenching his fists tight. His fingers dig into his palms, drawing blood.
He lets out a scream of pure rage and charges at the screen. He draws his fist back…
Black out
"You really think you could get away with this?"
Close shot of Sharpay's face, her eyes wide with fear.
"You pr… promised."
Still the same close shot of Sharpay's face, her eyes close when Gabriella's voice goes quiet.
Black out
"I'm sorry…" (Whisper in Sharpay's voice)
