Bug Bites, Love Bites
By Miki
"Atobe," Yuuta whispered. "Do you think your mother knows... knows about us?"Atobe flicked his hair, dropping backwards on his bed. "Of course she doesn't," he responded haughtily, though starting to doubt whether his parents weren't already suspecting.
Yuuta sat down on the edge of the bed beside him, wondering if Atobe was really sure or whether he was just pretending. He fingered his collar. He had a mark the size of about ten mosquito bites on his neck and it was all Atobe's fault! Yuuta wasn't complaining that it hadn't felt kind of good the night before, but Atobe's mother hadn't stopped staring at him the whole meal, even though he'd even worn a shirt with a collar to cover it up. Wearing a scarf during summer was just going too far.
Atobe surprised Yuuta as he pulled him closer on the bed, making Yuuta twist his back a little uncomfortably as he moved. "Don't do that," he grouched as he felt Atobe's mouth on his neck again. It was the spot right where his neck joined his shoulder; the same spot Atobe had practically sunk his teeth into the night before, and Yuuta was starting to think Atobe had a weird kind of fixation with it.
"Hey!" Yuuta protested, pulling away. He stared at Atobe, slightly aroused but not wanting any more vampiric-looking marks on his body. He swallowed, looking at Atobe's neck, wondering if it felt good to do it to someone. He wasn't curious, he told himself. Or was he?
He stared at Atobe's pale skin. He knew what Atobe's chest was like, and what Atobe's back was like to touch, but he'd never really touched Atobe's neck. It was a bit weird to kiss his neck, wasn't it, when his lips were so close.
"I'll do it where no one can see," Atobe insisted, trying to pull Yuuta back down again.
Yuuta grunted. "You can only do it if I can do it to you," he said, sure Atobe would say no. Screw being curious about Atobe's neck! He was saving his own.
Atobe tilted his head slightly. "Okay," he said.
Yuuta swallowed. "Huh?"
Atobe pointed to his neck and then pulled Yuuta's face close to his. "Put a mark on my neck," he ordered, smirking slightly.
Yuuta faltered, thrown off balance. "No..." he frowned. "I don't... That's stupid. Everyone will see it," he argued.
Atobe smirked. "Will they?"
The next morning at breakfast, Atobe's mother gave Yuuta's neck a long, hard stare at the table but Atobe sat pretty in a high-collared dressing gown, sipping his tea and not looking anything but normal. Yuuta didn't think it was fair.

Syuusuke stared a while at Yuuta's neck and then frowned, a dark look coming over his face as he opened his eyes and stepped rather close to Atobe.
Yuuta swallowed, closing the front door behind them. Atobe had come over for dinner, and though Yuuta hadn't expected things to go smoothly, they weren't supposed to be this bad so early either.
"The next time you feel like biting something," Syuusuke warned, "you'd better sink your teeth into something other than my brother."
Atobe frowned, incensed and about to show it. He was a guest who'd just stepped in the door and already Syuusuke was launching an attack.
Syuuske cut Atobe off, putting a protective arm around Yuuta's shoulders, ignoring the fact that Yuuta squirmed uncomfortably for it. "Why don't you try biting a pillow next time? I'm sure you have a lot spare."

The next time Atobe went to Yuuta's house for dinner, he made sure Yuuta had a nice, large mark on his neck. And then he made Yuuta wear a t-shirt and sit next to Syuusuke at the table and he laughed to himself the whole time Syuusuke glowered at him over his dinner.
Some days he really didn't think he gave a damn about who knew about he and Yuuta, as long as Yuuta still blushed to his ears and tried to kick him under the table.
