Author's Note: This is just an amusing (hopefully) oneshot I came up with while watching miller moths trying to get in the windows. I know these guys are probably a little OOC, but oh well. By the way; I haven't been able to come up with anything lately, so I decided to take something I've never watched, read, or listened to before and write a story about it going by a few fanfics that I could find. I chose the Japanese cartoon InuYasha. I have the story in the works, but I would like feedback as to whether I should post it or not. Hope to hear from you soon!

Without further ado, I give you. . .

Jarlaxle's Creepy-Crawly Menagerie and Entreri's Neverending Headache

"Entreri, look at all those creamgnats!" exclaimed Jarlaxle happily. The assassin gave him a confused look.

"Creamgnats? What are you talking about?" he asked, still looking at Jarlaxle in bafflement.

"On the trees! Why are they all orange? I like the ones that are green and blue and yellow better; these are boring." said Jarlaxle, sounding remarkably like a four-year-old child.

"Butterflies. Those are butterflies, Jarlaxle." he said, emphasizing the word and rolling his eyes. Honestly; he didn't see why he put up with Jarlaxle sometimes, especially when he got into one of his 'nature moods', when he would wander around, babbling about how beautiful everything was. Quite annoying, really.

"Hmm, I wonder if they left any doggerpoles behind?" mused Jarlaxle speculatively as he saw an orange cloud fly away into the east.

"What are you babbling about now?" asked Entreri wearily. He pinched the bridge of his nose, feeling a tremendous headache coming on.

"These things!" said Jarlaxle, putting a squirming green wormlike thing directly under Artemis' nose.

"Argh! Get that thing away from me!" Entreri exclaimed. "Those are caterpillars, and some of them are poisonous, you idiot!"

That wasn't the only reason Entreri slapped the squiggly green thing out of Jarlaxle's hand. He would never admit it, but Artemis Entreri detested creepy-crawlies with a passion, and sometimes even went out of his way to avoid them.

As Jarlaxle moved on, still jabbering about the caterpillars, Entreri sighed. Yes, this would definitely be a day when he would have to try very hard not to strangle his companion.
