Time ticked away slowly as the team filled out yet more paperwork. All bar Grissom, were sitting in the breakroom, sighing every now and again. Every few minutes someone would glance and the clock, as it ticked painfully slowly.
"How long now?" Catherine asked having noticed Greg look up for the third time.
"Fifteen minutes left." He sighed.
"Damn!" Warrick slammed down his pen. "There is nothing worse than a whole shift of paperwork." Agreement came from around the table.
"I can't wait to get outta here." Greg sighed.
"Why? Got a hot date?" Sara asked from beside him.
"Not yet." He winked at her before someone cleared their throat. Grissom was standing in the doorway, watching Sara hold back from hitting her friend.
"Gil!" Catherine jumped up and hugged her friend, "Please say you have come to save us!"
"Let go of me Cath," He said, his voice muffled. "And yes, I have."
Everyone else jumped up from the table cheering, then Grissom's phone went off.
"Oh well Griss, better luck next time." Catherine patted his shoulder before following Nick and Warrick out of the room.
"So Sara, got any plans for tonight?" Greg asked, following her on their way out of the room.
"Maybe." She winked at Grissom before leaving. Grissom flipped open his cell and read the text.
My place, 2 hours for breakfast?...Maybe ; )
S
Grissom smiled before texting his reply and leaving the room also.

Sara put the finishing touches on the table. Never a very good cook, she had opted for toast that would, hopefully, never be eaten. She smirked at her naughty little thoughts and went to change into something more...revealing. She slipped a robe on before sitting on the couch to wait. Not long after, there was a knock on the door.
"Hey Ho..." She opened the door to reveal...well, not Grissom, "..ly crap."
"Gee thanks." Greg pouted. "Why aren't you letting me in?"
She had the door open only about a foot so as Greg wouldn't see the inside of her apartment, more importantly, Grissom's dirty clothes from the day before lying in a corner. "Ever heard of a thing called privacy Greg?"
"Yea, but still." He tried to walk in but she blocked him.
At that moment, Grissom walked around the corner towards her apartment. Luckily he was unnoticed by Greg. "No!" She said to both men. Grissom saw the younger CSI and dashed back around the corner.
"Why not?" Greg whined, looking at her with puppy dog eyes.
"Look Greg, I'm really tired." She lied. "I'm sorry."
"But I smell toast." He called as she closed the door. "Fine then."
Greg shrugged and walked past where Grissom was hiding. Grissom left out a sigh of relief before heading to his girlfriend's apartment. Greg was unlocking his car when he noticed a familiar Denali parked a few spaces away. Immediately it clicked and Greg rushed back inside. He knocked on Sara's door and when she reluctantly opened it, barged his way in.
"Ha!" He said.
"What?" She asked from the doorway, rather annoyed at him.
"But..and...he...Denali... oh I give up." He walked back out of the apartment, mumbling his apology. With the door safely closed and locked, Grissom came out from hiding in the bathroom.
"How did you know he would come back?"
"It's Greg. I knew he would see your car and jump to the correct conclusion." She explained, much like he does when they're working.
"Good point." He smiled and walked up and hugged her. "Now that you have confused him?"
She kissed him. "We forget about him."

Another short piece of fluff.I know I am being slightly mean to Greggo but the story wouldn't have worked without him.: )
