So Thank Me
Rating: Idk anymore. It's okay?
Disclaimer: (sneezes) I don't own them.
Summary: "I still never thanked you for giving my speech." "So... thank me."
A/N: I got bored. I needed to write a grillows fic. Even if it sucked so bad, no one reviews. LOL. School's been keeping me busy. Evil teachers. (swears)
Catherine pressed her lips together as she pulled into her driveway. She stepped out of her car in her black heels and flirty dress. Not only did she have to give Gil's speech, the rest of the night had been completely boring. She slowly dragged herself to the door, knowing she'd be welcomed to an empty house since Lindsey had plans tonight, too.
She unlocked the door and walked into the dark house, heading towards the kitchen to pour her something to drink. She placed her purse on the kitchen counter and flicked on the light, squinting her eyes as the fluorescent light beamed down on her. She sighed as she moved towards the fridge and pulled out her two best friends.
Orange juice and vodka.
As she mixed herself a screwdriver, a still tux-dressed Gil Grissom was pulling his own car into her driveway. He shut the door gently, as to quiet his welcome, and walked through the already unlocked door without even knocking first. He simply stood against the front door with his arms crossed over his chest, knowing her routine way too well for his own good.
She'd make herself something to drink, sit in the living room while listening to music, finish her drink, and head up stairs to catch up on sleep.
Soon enough, he watched as she walked out of the kitchen with a small glass in her hand. He smirked.
"Started without me?" She literally jumped out of her skin when she heard his voice. She calmed down a bit when she recognized it was him. She touched her chest with her hand.
"Jesus Christ, Gil. Way to give me a heart attack." He simply uncrossed his arms and slid his hands into his pockets.
"I need a woman, huh, Cath?" She narrowed her eyes as he began to move closer to her. "Were you flirting or offering?" Her lips parted at his words as she raised her glass to her mouth.
"Both," she whispered before taking a sip of her screwdriver. She stood in her place and watched as he advanced even closer to her. He stopped when he was just inches away from her body.
"I never did thank you for giving my speech."
Their eyes met.
"So... thank me," she challenged him.
Before she could grasp what was happening, he had taken the drink from her hands and placed it on the nearest surface he could find. She looked up at him with eyes clouded with desire and love. Her hands slid up his arms and across his shoulders, resting behind his neck. She closed her eyes as their lips softly brushed against each other's. They both stayed that way for what seemed to last for hours, until he grasped her waist and pulled her against his warm body.
Their kiss deepened instantly, tongues dueling for control as she moaned at the feel of his hands traveling over her hips and across her lower back. She let her hands fall from his neck and placed them on his chest, slowly working the buttons until his shirt was barely draped over his shoulders. She grabbed the bow-tie and threw it to the ground, along with his shirt.
"I'm impressed. You learned how to fix your tie by yourself."
They kissed.
"It took me about twenty-five minutes just to untangle it."
And kissed again.
"Good thing Sara didn't get to it." He raised his eyebrow. "She probably would've glued it."
A/N: And I know Sophia's the one that glues the tie, I just thought Sara would be funnier. And I know it's short. I'm sorry. I was just bored out of my MIND. Maybe I can continue it if I get enough reviews. LOL. (shrugs) And I've got a new song that reminds me of Grillows... so look out for a song-fic pretty soon. LOL!
