Echizen Ryoma and Ryuzaki Sakuno were official girlfriend and boyfriend, and everyone knew that since the two began going out during high school. At first, the whines, complaints, and actions of the fanclub for the Echizen Ryoma were so horrendous which resulted in banning it, thanks to Echizen himself. After that, they dispersed and continued cheering him on, requesting his girlfriend to do certain things and asking her specific questions about him. Sakuno could only confusedly blink at the large group of females while sweat-dropping.
Although Sakuno had confessed to him, and he slowly accepted, she always wondered something. What exactly were his tastes in girls? So she had decided sometime to ask him that and find out what he really looked for in girls, for she was quite uncertain about him choosing her, Ryuzaki Sakuno, timid and shy as ever, as his girlfriend. It was just too…awkward.
"Ryoma-kun," began Sakuno as they were walking to her house together, holding hands.
"Hm?" he asked, still looking forward while she studied his facial appearance.
"What do you look for in girls?"
Echizen froze in his steps, stopping in the middle of the sidewalk. He loosened his grip around the girl's warm and petite hand, releasing it. He continued to stare straight, while she fussed over him, apologizing nonstop.
"Sorry, Ryoma-kun! I didn't mean to say that or anything of that sort! I'm just insecure and wanted to know –"
"Ryuzaki."
"Yes?"
"I like girls with ponytails." (1)
That phrase shocked her as she looked at her own hair, deftly grasping her auburn braids. Tears began to form around her eyes as she stood rooted to the spot, her knees buckling. Her mouth was opened slightly, and her entire facial appearance read shock. She slowly drew out her hand towards his face and slapped him hard on the cheek, closing her eyes shut in the process.
"Ryoma-kun is stupid!" she cried, and she turned around to run when she felt a sudden jerk behind her. "Ah!" She felt herself falling backwards when a pair of strong arms wrapped around her skinny waist. A small nuzzle was sensed around the broad opening of her neck, visible to the eye when wearing the school uniform.
"R-ryoma-kun! Let me go!" she said as she struggled to break free from his grasps, but he only tightened his grip around her.
"Ryuzaki, listen to me," he commanded, and she fell limp under his words. She really does anything I say.
"I like girls with ponytails, that's true…"
"Then let go of me!" she winced, reviving herself. His chain only grew tighter and he began planting soft butterfly kisses on her neck. She gasped at this and stood frozen, growing limp once more. He smirked and stopped his actions before finishing his statement.
"But Ryuzaki is an exception."
And in the same position, he captured her lips full.

A/N: This idea was just egging me on, and didn't give me time to do "Gisyuusuke: A RomanTennic Story" at all! PSH! XD ... Ending really sucks though...
(1) – I am referring to volume 20.5, where Konomi Takeshi mentions Ryoma's preference of girls (and that's exactly what he likes…)
