Pairing: Fleur/Hermione/Bellatrix
Rating: PG-13/T for now, M/R/NC-17 later
Warnings: Femslash, polyamory, somewhat large age gaps in romantic/sexual relationships, homosexual and heterosexual relationships, sex, kink, humor, sarcasm, shenanigans, and so forth. Don't like it, feel free to leave…or jump off a cliff. Either way is good with me.
Summary: Hermione Granger is not the girl everyone thinks she is.
A.N. So, I've completely redone this story. I went back a while ago and was more than a bit embarrassed of what I'd written. I'm sticking with the original idea, but I began to write this story in High School, and I, my writing style and, honestly, my taste, has changed. So for those of you who have followed this story from the beginning (of whom I'm sure are few), prepare for a change. I hope you enjoy.
This begins during the summer between 5th and 6th year, so around 1995-1996, if we go by Harry's birthday. I am making Hermione a year older than the books say, thanks to her time-turner usage during 3rd year (unoriginal, I know. But it makes sense, doesn't it?), so she is 17, turning 18 in her 6th year. I am also changing the dynamics of the original pairing/relationship by tossing Bellatrix into the mix. For those of you who don't ship Bella/'Mione (or Lestranger as I enjoy calling them) or Bellatrix at all, give it a shot. Bellatrix Black is one of the most complex characters JK Rowling created, and Helena Bonham Carter brought her to life. It's one of my favorite threesomes, and I hope I can do them justice ;) I promise you won't be disappointed.
Prologue
Hermione Granger was not the girl everyone thought she was.
In fact, no one really knew her at all. Sure, she was bossy and a bit of a know-it-all. Of course she loved books and learning, going to school and gaining as much knowledge as possible.
But Hermione was really a very private person. So private, in fact, that when Hogwarts got out for summer, when Hermione stepped off that train, a sort of...transformation happened. She was no longer the person everyone believed her to be…no longer the person everyone wanted her to be.
You see, Hermione Granger was one complex individual. Once you think you had her figured out, she would do or say something to put your world spinning on its head once again. Being a witch only intensified that. She greatly enjoyed tricking people, giving them a headache. She loved to watch confusion flit across their faces, followed quickly by astonishment, suspicion, sometimes even embarrassment. Of course, this was only one thing of many that no one knew. She often wondered why she hadn't been sorted into Slytherin house.
Every summer, as she watched the Weasleys load up into their magicked car, and Harry drive dejectedly away with his aunt and uncle, Hermione would smile, and thank the actors she had paid time and time again to play her parents. Once they had their reward – around 500 pounds each – she would allow the city air to bring her back to the reality of the Muggle world and, a Cheshire grin lighting her face, she would set off towards the nearest bus stop.
From there, it was three bus stops and a short trip on the tube, then finally a short walk to her home, where she would breathe in the smell freshly mowed grass, turn the key in the lock and begin her life over once more.
A.N: Ok, well, there you have it. Hope you enjoyed - sorry about the shortness! This was just kind of to introduce you to my idea. The next chapter will be longer and more in depth. Also, I am not from London, nor have I ever visited. So unless anyone has any great tips, I'll just be glossing over any public transportation/travel that goes on.
Next up: Chapter 1, in which we get a glimpse of the real Hermione Granger
