Oh my God, it's a KakuHida fanfic! NO WAY!!!

Seriously, this pairing needs some more luhrve. And what better to bring attention to a pairing than a poem?

Yeah, so this is my attempt at KakuHida. Hope ya like it.

Laying here tonight,

Facing you,

I can hear your breathing- slow, soft and regulated.

It tells me that you are asleep.

--

Burying my face in your chest,

I can't help but sigh and blush.

Your scent enthralls me, your crisscrossed scars perfection.

Pressing myself up against you, I wonder,

--

Do you feel this, Kakuzu?

Do you feel my body next to yours, with our hearts beating together?

Do you feel my finger tracing your stitches, as gently and lovingly as if they were rice paper?

Do you feel my lips in yours, a delicate display of emotion?

--

Resting my head near your torso, I fall asleep as well.

This is what I want.

------------------------------------------

You pull out of the kiss and fall asleep. You didn't realize that I was awake.

You never do.

--

As gently as I can, I put my hand on the side of your head,

And watch you breathe.

What a perfect picture.

--

Moving from your cheek to behind your shoulders, I hold you in the tight embrace you created.

You always were a bit clingy.

Not that I mind. I am clingy back.

--

Do you feel this, Hidan?

Do you feel my hand on your back, making sure that you are close to me?

Do you feel my breath on your neck, warm and moist?

Do you feel my face, buried in your lovely head of soft silver hair?

--

Feeling your body close to mine, I join you in subconsciousness.

This is what I want.

This must be the end of the world, since I actually liked this fic (as opposed to my normal oh-my-god-this-is-so-shallow approach).

Ah, well, reviews feed both Hidan and Kakuzu's souls.
