The Perks of Babysitting

Echizen Ryoma stared incredulously at his over-glamorized boyfriend.

"Monkey King, why is there a little kid sitting in your lap?"

Atobe Keigo looked up from the couch where indeed a little girl around the age of four was sitting in his lap, looking at what seemed to Ryoma to be flash cards.

"This brat is the little cousin of Ore-sama and you are going to baby sit her as Ore-sama goes and attends to important manners, which plebeians like you would not understand." With that said Keigo lifted the little girl from his lap and set her on the couch.

Keigo then headed over to where Ryoma had lost his voice and placed what were indeed flash cards into lifeless hands. "You are to teach her the sounds...hfph...zoo animals make. Ore-sama shall grace you with his glorious presence in an hour."

With a quick peck on Ryoma's cheek Keigo was out the door before his snarky boyfriend could say another word.

Ryoma gaped at the door for an instant before turning slowly to face a beaming four year old.

"You're gonna help me learn my animal sounds now,? Kei Kei-nii-san didn't want to because he said it was un-un...well I can't remember the word." The girls little voice was very soft and quite melodic for a little girl.

"No I'm not..." Ryoma suddenly left off and began to smirk. "Yeah I'll teach you." He went and sat down next to the girl as he pulled a card out of the deck in his hand. "Let's start with this one."

"Ore-sama is here! Be awed by my marvelous presence. Now brat have you finished teaching Ore-sama's cousin on what commotion those zoo animals emit?"

"Yup, show Monkey King what you've learned kid." Ryoma pulled down his cap as he slouched further into the couch with his trademark smirk.

"'Kay! Well a Lion goes 'roar', a zebra goes 'neigh' like a horsie, a hyena goes 'heeheehee', (Imagine Ryoma saying that XD) and a monkey goes 'ore-sama ore-sama'. But Kei Kei-nii-san are you a monkey? 'Cause you say that too!"

Let's just say Keigo was not very pleased with Ryoma and leave out all the popped veins.

This idea just wouldn't go away so I had to write it!

Teehee so what do you think of my first try of Royal pair! Lol even if it really isn't romantic or anything. Oh for some of you who are wondering why the girl's name was never mentioned that was because I figured Ryoma would never bother to ask...he would forget it anyway...and I doubt Keigo would think it was important.
