Chapter One: Say What!?

"Max, you know that I will never stop loving you, you aren't just my first choice because

you are probably the only person on this planet who could, or would love me back, but

because I love you, and I always will." Said Fang to the broken mirror in front of him. He

sighed, there aren't enough words in any language to express the love he so deeply felt for Max.

"What are you doing?" asked Iggy, as he cautiously opened the bathroom door.

"Shouldn't you be on the beach, watching everyone else have fun?"

"Shouldn't you be making bombs or something?" Fang retorted. He looked out the

window at the setting sun.

"You are so in love with Max its kind of scary." Said Iggy, grabbing another towel for

Fang, when he would eventually come down to the beach.

"Max is actually wondering where you are, which is out of character…for her." said Iggy.

They went down in the elevator, which of course, is not the best place for mutant bird

kids that were kept in cages for the majority of their lives.

"Hey Fang, are you finally going to enjoy yourself on our victory vacation?" said Max enthusiastically.

"Yes I am, and now that the cretin is gone I can relax!" said Fang in a mocking tone.

"Good! now that everyone is occupied.." Max said, as she leaned over and kissed Fang smack on the lips.
