A/N: Yup yup, I'm a huge fan of contestshipping. Sorry this is so short. I wrote it while I was supposed to be doing my homework. ; Enjoy.
What She Knows
She knows, when she stands onstage, beaming confidently, that everybody is watching. She knows all about the pressure, all about the impression she's expected to make. Not for nothing has she been a renowned – although, never quite top – coordinator for four years.
She also knows that one person in the crowd watches her more critically than he does any of the others, with a frown on his face. She knows why – so he can spite her afterwards, so he can give her disdainful looks, so he can throw her roses.
What she doesn't know, however, is that what he enjoys more than anything else is watching her perform; the look on her face as the judges tell her as she want to hear, her deep blue eyes shining, her hands clasped in ecstasy. What she doesn't know is that he secretly smiles when she reluctantly takes his advice onboard; that he's glad he can help her. What she doesn't know is that she means more to him then she'll ever know; even if his face betrays nothing, even if he just flicks his hair as he insults her with a look of amiable disgust. This, she doesn't know.
One thing she does know, however, is that every time she glares after his turned back, her brother grins to himself and disguises his giggling.
