T-Shirts
A/N: Totally and completely random little story for a rainy day.
Summary: Booth and the squints are stuck in the lab during a thunderstorm…with no power.

"Thanks Bones," said Booth as he took the file from his partner's hand. "I've got to get these to Cullen pronto; otherwise it'll be my head." He made a slashing motion across his neck.
"I don't know what that means," Brennan replied.
"I do, and I guess it's going to be your head Booth," said Angela from the doorway of Brennan's office.
"Why?" asked Booth.
"The thunderstorm just started. You do not want to go out there."
"Great…" Booth muttered.
"What?" asked Brennan. "Just call him and say you're stranded."
"My battery's dead."
"Use my office phone." Booth picked up the phone and listened for a moment. He held it away from his ear and then put it back up to his ear. Then he put it down on the cradle.
"What is it?" asked Angela.
"The phone's not working," replied Booth. Just as the words left his mouth, the lights went off and the Jeffersonian was in darkness. "Wonderful!" said Booth sarcastically. "I'm stranded in the lab and the power's gone out."
"That would make a good t-shirt slogan," said Hodgins. Brennan pulled out a flashlight and switched it on.
"What would?" she asked.
"'I was stranded in a lab with genius scientists during a blackout and all I got was this stupid T-shirt'."
"I want a shirt that says 'If I was the moon, then night would be brighter than day'," said Angela.
"I want a shirt that says 'I'm a genius but I still haven't seen that movie'," said Zack.
"How about this," said Hodgins, "'Three things that rock my world: bugs, slime, and a beautiful lady'." He grinned and earned a friendly punch and a kiss from Angela.
"I want a t-shirt that says 'I do have a heart, but I already gave it to someone'," said Brennan.
"Really?" asked Angela. "Who is it? Do I know him?"
"I want a t-shirt that says 'If you gave me your heart I'd have a damn good poker hand'," said Booth.
"Oh my god, it's Booth isn't it sweetie? I knew it! Are you guys going out? When did it start?"
"Angela!" cried Brennan. "We're stuck in the lab during a power out and all you can think of is getting me and Booth together?"
"Hey!" said Zack. "The power's back!" Zack and Hodgins returned to the platform with Angela behind them. Booth turned to Brennan.
"Is it me?" he asked. Brennan smirked and pointed towards the door.
"You have to go to Cullen, remember?" she said. As soon as he had left her office she called out to him. "I'll tell you this: you have a damn good poker hand." She grinned and turned on her computer. He grinned and walked out to his SUV. They could talk poker hands and hearts later.
