Hi everyone! Hope you enjoy this fic. On another note about fics, I am currently writing a fanfic titled A Bishonen's Guide to Fangirls , and I need 2 real-life fangirls to use as examples for each of the following bishies from InuYasha: Sesshomaru, Inuyasha, Miroku, Naraku, Bankotsu, Hiten, and Suikotsu.

More will be added upon request. Post reply in either my forum for that fic, or in reviews. Thankies, and enjoy!

Aroooooooo-oow!

A wolf howl echoed though the night. Gale-force winds were blowing, and the temperature was close to below freezing.

The weather did nothing to help the predicament of the two young men being subjected to it, however.

Jakotsu huddled before a dying fire, his younger comrade lying in his lap, almost asleep-or dead- from the cold. His injuries probably don't help either… His friend thought miserably, looking down.

And it's my fault we got into that entire mess, too…

Bankotsu shifted slightly in his sleep, and clenched his teeth in subconscious pain as he did so. His shoulder had been bandaged, but blood was already soaking it. His leg was bandaged as well, but at least it wasn't bleeding. Yet.

A strong breeze suddenly began to blow through. Lightning illuminated the sky, and it began to rain. The fire embers hissed and went out.

Shivering, Jakotsu absentmindedly brushed some hair out of his aniki's eyes. So soft…he mused. Gently he began tracing the star on the younger man's forehead.

What if you don't live through thies night? Will I still see your star?

A tear slid down Jakotsu cheek, running over the tears that were already stained there. But those tears were meant to be there. The tear fell down onto Bankotsu's cheek, causing him to mumble in his slumber.

"Ja- Jakotsu…"

Looking up at the sky, Jakotsu wept. But shining through the storm raging around it, one star shone brightly.

Jakotsu looked down, and smiled.

Yes. I will always see your star, even when all other lights go out. Your star. Our star.
