"Shit…"
"Now how are we going to get the hell out of here?" Hermione Granger asked, clearly pissed off for being dragged into the small hole that happened to go no where once they came down the rope, which ended up breaking and falling down to their feet as soon as they turned their backs to survey the place.
"We can get out of here," Sam Winchester answered, trying to reassure her. "You can apparate us out of here."
Hermione shook her head, smacking herself. "How did I forget that I'm a witch?" She asked herself as she reached into her back pocket. She felt nothing there. Panic filled her face and thoughts, "I don't have it on me… What are we going to do?!"
Sam went to her and grabbed her shoulders, trying to calm her. He made her turn her face to look at him; he stared deeply in her eyes. She felt a shiver went down her spine as he stared at her. "It's going to be fine… Dean knows we're down here. He'll realize that we haven't come back soon and he'll come looking for us here first. We'll be out of here before you know it." He pulled her into a hug, hoping that would help.
Taking a deep breath and closing her eyes, Hermione concentrated on his words and voice. She opened her eyes and nodded slowly, smiling softly. "Thank you Sam…"
"You're welcome," he replied with his own smile as he reluctantly let go of her.
"I'm sorry I freaked there…" Hermione starting her apology and explanation, "I know I fought worse things then getting stuck in a hole. I've just had this fear of holes and small places since forever. My mom said I had fallen in a hole when I was really little around four or something. I was apparently in there for a while before they had realized I wasn't with them and found me." Hermione let out a small laugh, "Guess I was scared for life."
"I understand," Sam stated. "I had to deal with a lot of scary things since I was a baby. I still get nightmares and even though it's been my life hunting these things, these demons, I'm not quite used to it like Dean acts he is. " Sam revealed, something Hermione hadn't known. She stepped closer to him, putting a hand over his folded arms. He sighed, "I guess that's why I wanted to go to Stanford and have a normal life. I didn't want to be plagued by them."
Hermione smiled softly at him, "Just remember your never alone with the nightmares. I've know Dean for only a while, but he's dealing with his own nightmares while awake and asleep. I know you know that, and that you guys know that you're both there for each other, but even then it doesn't matter. Sometimes the nightmares grow stronger, sometime weaker. All you have to do is remember that Dean and I are here for you and we're not going anywhere without you." Hermione stated determinedly.
Sam grinned down at her, "And you have to remember that I'm here for you. Through sickness and all nighters, whenever you need someone, I'll be there for you." Sam confessed, brushing a hand against her flushed cheek.
"I know," Hermione said, grinning up at him. She yanked on his shirt which caused him shorten down to her length. "Now shut up and kiss me before your brother gets back," Smirking at him she pulled him into a kiss.
THE END.
