Hide and Seek
It was the night that the Teen Titans had defeated the Brotherhood of Evil, and all of the Titans were hanging out at the Tower. Already, they had consumed approximately half a ton of pizza and enough soda to fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool. Now, being sated, they were rather bored. Then, one of them came up with a brilliant idea – a massive game of Hide and Seek in the dark. All rooms excluding the bedrooms were declared fair game, and Cyborg was selected to be it. Quickly, the other Titans scattered, looking for the best hiding spots.
Raven ran into the training room. At first, she thought it void of good hiding places, before looking at the ceiling. Hanging there were long florescent lights, large enough for her to comfortably hide on top of. Quickly, she levitated to the top, stretching out on it. "Actually, this is kind of comfy," she thought, relaxing. Then, she saw a dark figure slink into the room. She stiffened, but relaxed when she saw it was too short to be Cyborg. She determined that it was Robin.
"Robin!" she whispered, "Up here!"
The boy wonder looked around, startled. Raven waved an arm over the light, revealing her location.
"Get up here," she continued, "Cyborg's almost done counting. He'll find us both if you keep running around down there."
With the help of a birdarang, Robin landed next to Raven.
"Great spot," he murmured.
"It is," she agreed, "Now shut up!"
The two waited quietly, breathing shallowly through their mouths. Robin lounged against the thing that connected the light to the ceiling, Raven against Robin. Soon, a large figure entered the room. The birds held their breath. Cyborg checked the room thoroughly, but neglected the ceiling. He left the room. The two continued to hold their breath for about another minute, then breathed deeply.
"We fooled him good," Robin smirked, "Wonder how long it'll take him to finally get us?"
"He'll have to give up," Raven laughed quietly, "He'll never find us."
Several minutes passed, and the Titans, lulled by the darkness and their warmth, fell asleep. Fortunately, neither of them rolled over, or they would have found that their fall was long and the floor concrete. Cyborg had found the other Titans by now, and now all of them were helping him look for the last two holdouts. It was Bumblebee who found them snuggled up against each other.
"Aww, look at this!" she cooed, flying Cyborg up to see, "Aren't they adorable?"
He grinned. "Hey Bee, I've got an idea. Let's get the other Titans and all the cameras we can find and meet back here. Quietly!"
They left the sleeping pair for a couple minutes, only to return with every other Titan, each with a camera. Those who could fly supported another who couldn't, so all of them could see Robin and Raven.
"On the count of three, everyone take a picture!" commanded Cyborg quietly, "And don't forget to use the flash. Ready? One, two, THREE!"
The couple was awakened by a blinding light caused by the flashes of dozens of cameras clicking at once.
"What's going on?" demanded Robin, completely awake.
"Oh, you'll know soon enough," cackled Cyborg, "When these pictures hit the Internet!"
Laughing, the fiendish photographers left the room.
"Do you have any idea what just happened?" asked Raven.
"No clue," said Robin, "But I think I'll go back to sleep. I was so comfy!"
Once again, they fell asleep in each others' arms.
