Ice

If the ocean were ever to freeze it would look like Riku's eyes. The teen kept his gaze hard and cold. Letting no one see into his heart and soul. They are like a lock without a key; at least not a key that is easily found.

But Axel is fire. Where Riku's eyes are a frozen ocean, Axel's are burning emeralds. He is the fire to Riku's ice and no matter how hard Riku tries to deny it; he knows Axel is slowly melting away the ice that he has covered his heart in.

Most of all they both know that even if Axel cannot melt Riku's frozen heart completely, he has tried and gotten farther than any others have before. And for that Riku will love him always.
