The house sits quietly as it has done many, many other nights.
A stealthy figure approaches the house watchful for spying eyes. As they approach the gate without mishap they sigh with relief. Picking the lock to the gate and rushing up to the porch they pull out a key. Quietly inserting the key into the lock they slip into the house with little noise. Eyes scan the room carefully. The figure makes their way deep inside the house.
They approach a room, the heart of the house. Many nights were spent up late finishing up the final chapter of a good mystery book, thinking up a new story, and even completing homework. "So he is..." She whispers looking at the glass in her hands. "This is all I need to-"
"To prove you're right." A voice interrupts her. "But what is it you have there? A scrap of paper?" The voice asks with a grin.
"No! I have glasses len...ses..." She says looking down at her hands only to see the lenses replaced with paper flowers, daffodils, her favorite. "What did you do with them?!" She asks all in rage looking over to the person. With a gasp she drops the flowers seeing the tiny figure grinning at her. That grin...those clothes...but he's so tiny. "Like a tiny KID..." She thinks out loud.
"How smart you are..." The mini KID says with a bow. "Perhaps you should wake up now, Mouri-san."
With a gasp she falls unconscious only to wake in her bed. "What was that?" She asks herself.
"That is..." A voice says with a grin, before a soft clearing of the throat is heard. "A mystery, Ran-neechan." Conan Edogawa says eyes glinting mysteriously. Or perhaps it was the lightning...
