Sins of the Father

Summary: During the funeral of Quincy Morris, Alucard shows up to pay his respect to the deceased member of the Belmont clan, his family, and friends.

Several people stood around the coffin of Quincy Morris as the priest gave his eulogy. They held the funeral in England and his body was to be shipped back to America. Several of them didn't notice a tall man with pale blond hair and dressed in Victorian clothes and cape walking up to the coffin. A few people however did notice the man however. Two of these people being Dr. Van Helsing and young John Morris. The tall man went up to the boy's mother and gave his condolences to her. She smiled and thankd him as he went up to the coffin and placed a dozen white roses on it and stood there.

When the funeral had ended mostly everyone had left except for the tall man, Van Helsing, and Mr. and Mrs. Harker. Van Helsing looked at the tall man and said "I always thought that you were a myth. But I guess after seeing your father I should have known better Alucard." Alucard smirked and replied "You've heard of me?" Van Helsing nodded "If I had known that this was going on I would have risen from crypt to stop him myself Dr. Van Helsing and we would have one less dead member of the Belmont clan."
"I din't realise Mr. Morris was a blood member of that legendary clan." Van Helsing said in disbelief.

Alucard turned to the famous doctor and said "Yes and it was sad that he didn't have the family whip with him or else he would be alive today. I hope that the son will grow up with the knowledge of the Belomnt clan because my father will not stay in hell forever." He then went over to the Harkers and said "I hope that you two have a happy and long marriage." Alucard then turned around and walked into the sunset. Mina Harker went up to Van Helsing and asked "Who was that man Dr. Van Helsing?" "A ghost of Dracula's past, his long lost son. Do not worry your heads about him. He doesn't give a damn about his father and his business. In fact if he had been here when this whole thing started we probably would still have poor Lucy alive and well today as well as Young Mr. Morris. Now I suggest that you and your husband enjoy your life together." Van Helsing himself then walked away from the coffin leaving the two Harkers by themselves.

I watched Bram Stoker's Dracula tonight and I got inspired.
