Well, it's kinda crappy, but here you go.

Yuki sniffed the cold air by the lake-side, letting it out in a steamy breath. The rat was deep in thought about many things in his life, namely Tohru. Ever since he had finally talked to her about how he was feeling, he acted casual around her, but inside he was tight as a coiled spring. She had not answered back to him, and had not yet throughout the entire summer. There was no way she could have forgotten, could she? No. That didn't seem possible. He had kissed her. Did one forget a kiss so readily? He didn't know, he had never been kissed before.

Yuki let out a small giggle. It was ironic, really. The prettiest boy in the school and he had yet to experience a kiss. He shook his head. The sun was slowly rising on the reflective surface of the lake, warming the cold earth that had been shrouded by darkness just a short time before. Just like Honda-san did to me, he realized. The metaphor seemed to fit quite well. However... but the sun rises and sets... he began to think in philosophical terms. It shines bright and warm in the afternoon, but then it sets, he thought. Would that happen to him? If Tohru was like the sun, would she bring him into happiness for just a little while, then set and plunge his life back into the darkness of Akito's hellish rooms, where the only company he would ever get would be from the man who was supposed to be possessed by Kami... bull shit. If that man was at all like the Kami-sama he had been raised to believe in, then he'd kiss Kyo's ass. And that wasn't happening.

But Yuki was getting sidetracked. If Tohru set on him, the next sunrise would likely be death, releasing him from his cursed family like he had always dreamed.

The damned boy stood from his place on the sand of the beach, dusting sand from himself. He continued to watch the sun peak from over the dying forest of autumn. If Tohru was to be the sun, he'd try to get her to stay at noontide.

He'd love Tohru. For all that she had done for him. Perhaps he'd try to win her affections. Floral gifts maybe... no, that wasn't it. He'd do it with the kindness of his heart.

Yuki looked at the rising sun from the sand of the Sohma summer home. I suppose you will set someday, Honda-san, just please... not yet,

not yet...

Well, this was just a little drabble that I slapped together in 15 minutes. I really didn't know where I was going with it, but I hoped you liked it at least a little bit.

Plz r&r.
