Author's Notes: Bit of an AU taking place in the near-future, but to say anything would spoil it. Unfortunately, it misses out on being a true 100 word drabble by 21 words.

"Where's Kitty?"

Rogue didn't even look up from the table at Kurt's question.

"She's in the back, working on some project for school."

"Nein, I just came from there."

Jamie smirked as he overheard the two X-Men talking. In a few minutes, they'd be worried, by lunch they'd be panicked, and by dinner they'd be out of state and no one would ever think to ask young little Multiple if he knew anything. Not that he'd tell them anyway. Only two people had even treated the New Mutant like he could do anything and he wasn't betraying them. After all, who would believe him? Sweet, innocent Kitty would never run off with Lance, just never, she was too good for that.

'Kitty wouldn't. But,' Jamie thought, 'Kat would.'

In a small way, Jamie almost wished he could have gone with them, but it would be enough to be here in a few days when Lance and Kat Alvers walked in the X-Mansion doors...

Author's Notes: Watch "Joyride", Lance treats Jamie like a little brother without babying him, so it made since to me that Jamie would be supportive of Lance and Kitty/Kat's relationship. If anyone's confused by the 'they's', the X-Mansion would be worried and panicked, but Lance and Kitty would be out of state.
