Epilogue

"Ami! I promise you that I didn't take advantage of you! You insisted we get married last night," Zachariah pleaded to the water senshi as she angrily but quietly sat on the other side of the room.

She still wouldn't listen to him as she put on her socks and shoes.

He pulled out his phone and tried to show her something on the screen. "Ami, please listen!"

She continued to ignore him and stood up on both of her feet. But she quickly fell over thanks to her pounding headache. What a mess! Ami slapped away Zachariah's hand and stood again trying to stabilize herself. She made careful steps towards the exit of the bedroom and down the hallway before she reached the door. She heard Zach scrambling in the room calling out to her to wait. She knew he was still in the room indecent, but she made her hasty retreat. She tried to ignore her pounding headache starting to run down the street towards her closest friend. She was not quite sure where she was, but after traveling down a few streets of Tokyo, she determined she was closest to Usagi. She was careful in her run down the street and up the stairs, slipping, but also holding on to the rail. She made it to the top stair and immediately began knocking on the door her heart pounding in her chest. She hoped that Zach didn't follow her.

Ami was relieved when Usagi opened the door and looked at her friend in the frantic and panicked state.

"Ami! What's wrong?"

"May I come in?"

She nodded, "Of course! What's the matter dear? Is Zachariah alright to?"

Ami was stunned, "That's who I was running from! I woke up this morning in his bed, curled in his arms, completely undressed, and with a ring plus a marriage certificate to top it off!" Ami grabbed her hair wanting to pull it out, "What is going on?!"

Usagi patted her friend's shoulder and helped escort her to another side of the room. She sat down urging the senshi of water to sit beside her. Usagi pulled out her phone and began tapping a few things on her touch screen. "Ami, I want to warn you, what you are about to see you might not believe, but you asked me to record this last evening in case you didn't remember."

"Remember what?" Asked Ami almost in tears.

Usagi handed the phone to Ami and let her watch the recorded video.

"Usagi! Ah, there you go! See! I want you to record this because I want to remember it forever!" smiled Ami in the camera, the happiest she had ever looked. The screen changed to look at Zachariah, the man she was now running from. He had an amused smile on his face, but he held her hand and looked in his love's eyes. "Now Ami, are you sure you want to go through this? I don't want you to feel forced into marriage if you don't want to be-"

Ami nodded her head, "I do want to be married to you! Then my name will change to Mrs. Ami Pemmington!" She raise her hands in the air looking like she was ready to make a cheer.

"Ami," he spoke to her grasping her hands, "You are really drunk. We should wait till you sober up-"

"No! No. I won't be able to marry you sober. I'm to chicken to want to do that. I'm brave now. Let's do it now!" Ami gave her best smile to him before kissing his lips with passion. He pulled back almost growling with pleasure his response to her suggestions.

"Ami," spoke Usagi, "maybe you should wait-"

"No! I'm going to do it now! Otherwise I will never marry the man of my dreams! Anyways, he suggested it earlier today. I drank so I could agree. I agree. Let's go to the court house!"

"We have a few minutes to get there before it closes," spoke Usagi. "I'm so excited! My best friend is getting married! And then she will have lots of babies!"

"We will get right on it after the ceremony," nodded Zachariah.

Ami giggled, "Oh! What a great night this is!"

The video stopped.

Ami was horrified. Did she really say those things?

"There's one more," the moon senshi spoke and allowed her to watch.

Ami was horrified to watch the wedding ceremony, how she excitedly signed the paperwork, and with the suggestion of them going to the jewellers to buy wedding rings. She couldn't believe how happy they both looked when they signed the marriage certificate. Ami, as she analyzed all this, realized in horror that she was the instigator of all this. And Zachariah had been the cautious one.

She felt like a fool.

And leaving him at the condo before he could explain.

Now what?

"I think you should call him Ami," spoke her queen, " he was upset that you abruptly left this morning. He called Mamoru to reach me to help find you."

Ami felt her face brighten red.

"Look. He is worried sick about you. Talk to him. I'm sure he would be more that happy to talk things through with you."

"What if he wants to do...it...again?" Ami squeaked.

Usagi laughed, "You're married! I'm sure you'll have fun with him. Maybe you both can plan a nice honey moon together."

"But my schooling!"

"Ami," Usagi looked her friend in the eyes, "You have been working to hard. Go to school but enjoy each other. Or better yet, take a semester off and enjoy your marriage to him!"

Ami began to fiddle with her ring.

Seriously, this was not what she had planned for her life.

There was a knock on the door.

The moon queen patted her friend's knee in reassurance, and went to see who was at the door.

Ami sighed. This was all so much to handle! Why did she think this was a good idea?

She felt a hand grasp her shoulder. She looked up and saw her husband, his hair unkempt with curls covering his back and shoulders and his green eyes unsure of how she would react to him.

She sat frozen, unsure of how to respond. She was ashamed of herself. Why did she act so harshly? Of all the ridiculous things! That's it. She mentally nodded her head. No more alcohol for her. She raise her hand slowly before being it down beside her and patted the seat next to her. She was too ashamed to look at him in the eye. Ami looked to her lap. "Usagi showed me the videos." The water senshi spoke those words softly reflecting her remorse.

"Did she?" His deeper voice spoke.

She nodded her head. Oh boy. She hoped that she wouldn't regret this later. "And..." She gave a sigh, "I think we can make this work."

She felt her body being held close to his in an instant, and she breathed in his natural musk. She let herself relax in his embrace and he held her tight.

"Ami?" She heard his voice vibrate as he spoke.

"Yes?"

"If I may ask, could I take you out on a date?"

She looked aback at him as she released his embrace. She laughed. "I'm your...your wife." Oh that sounded so strange on her tongue. She liked it. "Why are you asking me on a date?"

He smirked, "Because I would love to get to know my wife. And I would love to romance her so that she knows that I love her."

Ami smiled brightly, her lips opening into a toothy smile. "You are such a charmer."

He leaned his head close to her, ready to claim her lips, "No, I love my wife. I love you."

"And I kinda like you to," she teased. She knew what was coming next.

He smirked and breathed. "Wrong answer," before he claimed his kiss.

Usagi, standing in the background, videotaped the entire exchange.

Zachariah and Ami would thank her later.

Spring

Chapter 1 Preview

It had been a long but noisy flight back to Tokyo. There was a spoiled brat kid that kept screaming on the plane demanding his toys, and another passenger beside him snoring like there was no tomorrow. Kendal was looking forward to nothing more than his warm comfortable bed to sleep off this jet lag.

He had gathered his things from the cabin and began walking to the airport. His plane had landed ten minutes prior and he was ready to put his feet on solid ground. That fifteen hour flight was a killer.

He went through customs getting his passport stamped before finding the exit. His friend, Zachariah agreed to pick him up.

"Mr. Kendal Aimes!"

His tired brain, though very alert, picked up the sound of a very dainty voice. He looked over the crowd seeing a blonde make her way to where he was as she called out his name again waving her hand to him. Did he know her? When she reached him, she gave an exaggerated huff before bowing to him, "I'm Aino Minako."

He bowed to her respectfully. Was she a fan of his work in the film industry?

"I'm here with Zach Pemmington. He has a car ready for us to go in."

He internally sighed. Thank God. He sure was grateful that things were going as he planned for once this year. He was thankful to be out of this crazy ice and snow during the winter. Now that it was all melted, he came back to finish some work before filming here in town once again. The spring surely was the best season for him to do his work.

"So you're some hotshot producer in the movies, huh?"

There goes his peace and quiet. He looked down to her not really desiring to strike up a conversation with this stranger.

She smiled brightly.

She was like a ball of golden sunshine.

He was not liking this right now. Why did Zach bring along someone who was this upbeat when he would have preferred someone somber or quiet. What about that girl Zach was interested in? She was really quiet. Why didn't he bring her instead of Ms. Aino?

"You might be asking yourself why I am here," she commented which made him raise his eyebrow, "Zach was so kind to give me a ride after I had my car taken to the shop today."

Ah made sense. Kendal didn't care much anyhow. He just wanted to go home and get to sleep.

His ice blue eyes noticed the enthusiasm on his friends face as he welcomed him back from the long journey. "Good to see you my friend!"

He nodded his head in acknowledgement as he placed his luggage in the trunk of the car. Zachariah closed the lid and began making his way to the driver side as Kendal sat in the passenger side. He sleepy rested his head back on the car headrest and tried closing his eyes.

"So I heard you are producing a movie about the Sailor Senshi!"

That little dainty voice again...

"Did you start filming it yet?"

He kept his eyes closed as the photographer began driving out of the airport. It was at least thirty minutes before they got close to their destination. Thirty minutes of listening to this girl talking... just his luck.

"Who are going to be casting in this film? What Sailor Senshi are going to be featured? I'm sure you know that there are at least eighteen of them."

Would she just shut up?

Wait...eighteen Sailor Senshi?!

"What do you mean by eighteen?" He asked, his voice deep and very sleepy.

She began listing of all the senshi plus some he never heard of. Was she some sort of super fan? Did she actually know the mysterious but beautiful women warriors?

"They are so cool to watch! Heck, I would be happy to play one of your characters if you need a replacement!"

Did this woman have a mute button?

"Miss Aino?" asked Kendal finally speaking after all her theatrics and enthusiasm. "Please be quiet. I need to rest."

"Oh...sure..." She replied finally silencing herself. He adjusted himself in the seat and let the quiet motion of the car let his mind finally rest...until he heard tapping from long manicured fingernails on her cell phone device.

The stoic man with silver hair frowned in displeasure. Was this woman out to annoy him and continue his insomnia? Seriously? He kept silent trying not to let the sound irk him without much success. Just his luck.

This was going to be a long car ride.
