Yuugi sighed and admitted defeat. With all the snickering and chuckling in his head, there was no way he was going to get his homework done. With a slight grumble, but still very curious about what was so very funny to his lover, he brought himself to the door of the spirit's soul room.
"Pharaoh?" he called from the other side of the door.
"Yes, Yuugi. Come in," was the reply. There the spirit sat up against one of the gloomy walls of his soul room, a rather large book open in his lap.
"You've been snickering all afternoon," the boy told him. "What's so funny?"
"This book."
"What book is it? And how did you get a book?"
"I saw a small bookcase in the corner of your soul room. You told me before you didn't mind me in there, so I just borrowed some reading material," he replied, not looking up.
'How bad is it I never even noticed that?' Yuugi wondered.
"Not as bad as you think," the pharaoh replied, disregarding that his aibou had thought the question, not asked.
"Wait…" Yuugi realized. "You got it from my soul room… Pharaoh, what's in that book?" he asked, suddenly feeling very worried.
"Childhood memories."
"My… childhood memories?"
"Well, they certainly aren't mine."
"WHA…??" he boy yelled.
"Aibou, please. Loud noises tend to carry in here."
Yuugi did the only thing he could think of, even though he knew his other half would take advantage of it. He tackled the former king, doing everything he could to get the book out of his lover's hands. As he expected, the spirit made sort work of pinning him to the ground. At least his attention was off the book. He just hoped the other hadn't made it to the part…
"Of Anzu calling you her 'widdle pumky wumpky' in first grade?" the pharaoh finished the thought for him.
"Just… how far are you?" the teen asked tentatively.
"Third grade," his other half answered, face drawing closer. When he felt teeth soft on his neck, he forgot about the book.
But he doubted very much the Pharaoh had.

A couple weeks later, Yuugi thought the horror was over. Until he heard the most upsetting words he'd ever heard from his other half: "Aibou, you have some very interesting dreams."
