Ok, remember how Marcus of the Volturi was lifeless? Well, this is what I think was going on in his head during the book. Sorry if you don't like it.

I saw it. I saw it all happen, watched it unfold before my very eyes.

I watched the Cullen boy ask for his existence to be taken away. His existence, one of the only things that made our life worthwhile, he wanted it to be taken it away from him. In Aro's words, 'What a waste!'

I watched as he held his hand out to Aro, watched his expression change to a look that seemed as if we could bring him into a sort of paradise. Was the boy insane?

I was there when Aro explained to Caius and I what was going on with the boy. Told us of a girl, a human girl, who had died. Aro told us of this Cullen's love for her, her lust and love for her body as well as her blood. My brother told us of how this boy enforced a separation between the two of them, even though it had hurt him to the very core.

I was there as Aro, dear enthusiastic Aro, told this Edward that they couldn't kill him, it would hurt poor Carlisle. I couldn't care a bit for Carlisle, but the look in the stupid ignorant boy's eyes, brought back a memory, a memory that I had tried to block for so long. I had a memory of when my Marie, my dear sweet Marie, was destroyed. I remembered the look of utter hopelessness, that everything in your world had been destroyed, I remembered it all, because that was the same exact look that had been on my face.

I watched as Edward Cullen's face changed at the words that Aro had said, at Aro's offer for the boy to join us. I saw how it changed from saddened that we wouldn't grant his request, to incredulous to the thing that Aro was offering, to irritated, and finally to full blown fury, the force of a fiery tempest in his rage.

I heard the profanities that came streaming from his lips, the words that he would not live. Then I saw him leave in a wild storm.

I heard as Aro explained to the Guard to watch Edward, that he would do something drastic since we had denied his request.

I was there as we heard a report from one of the Guard, that Edward was about to walk into the sun, to force our hand, well, if he wanted this so badly, he would get it.

I saw as Edward walked into the room again, but this time with a human girl and another vampire. I saw how the boy clutch the human girl tightly against him, so protectively. It was then that my gift came into use. I saw the bond between the two of them, saw in Edward's eyes what he would do for the girl, there were images of him leaving her, protecting her from anything, and even a vision of him in a fiery vortex. In the girl's eyes was an image of staying away, not ever letting him go, and even stepping towards her death.

I was there as Aro exclaimed over what I had 'told' him, and how Edward explained it to his companions.

I saw Aro try to get into the girl, Bella's, mind. Saw how Jane couldn't even inflict pain on her.

I heard, as Aro finally allowed them to leave, Bella's exclamation over our next meal, her held back sobs.

I even heard the cracking of my non-beating heart as it broke to pieces when Edward held Bella and comforted her, reminding me so much of the one thing in my life that had made going on bearable.

"Marie..." I whispered as I spoke for the first time in over a hundred years.

His first word!

Well, it definately wasn't my best, but I think it's decent, what do you think?
