The story

I've just been summoned by my master Emperor Palpatine so he can teach me a lesson about the Sith. It is probably the one why we must always serve the dark side.

"My master, what is thy bidding?" I asked dropping down to my knees.

"Raise my friend, I'm going to explain to you why there are only two Sith at a time- a master and an apprentice.

The Sith wars had just finished about two months ago. About twenty thousand sith had died during that war on Yavin 4. Only a handful of them survived and even now they are dying from their wounds. Eventually only two of them are alive: Darth Bane and his Master Armeget.

They were on their way back from Yavin 4 where they had been stranded these past months when they crashed landed on Dagobah.

Armeget told Bane to stay and look after the ship while he went looking for parts to fix it with. Lucky for them a Jedi Master had landed and was also out looking for a place to find spare parts. While she was gone Armegeton came across her ship after two days walk. Once he had determined that no one was around he took the parts they needed and headed back to the ship.

When he got back he told Bane to fix the ship and he'd be back soon he just had a task to finish off- killing the owner of the other ship. When he came across a tree he felt the Jedi Master's presence. It was then that he had a vision of him lying on the ground with a Jedi standing over him and delivering the fatal blow. Ignoring the warning Armegeton jumped down and went looking for the Jedi Master.

When they came face to face they recognised the other. They both stared at one another until five minutes later Armegeton thrust out towards her Kneck. She blocked it quite easily. Their battle went on like this for another ten to fifteen minutes. Then the Jedi managed to pull a successful feint ending with him falling to the ground. When this happened he realise the vision was coming true! The Jedi thrashed down her weapon and cut his head off.

Darth Bane had just finished fixing the ship when he felt his master's death. He realised their was nothing he could do about it. So he took off and headed back to Coruscant proclaiming him as a Sith master determined to bring back the order without any more wars.

" So Vader that is why he made the rule that survives to today- one master, one apprentice." His master Emperor Palpatine told him while turning off the hologram. "I want you to always remember this."
