What do you see?
I don't understand,
What do you see?
Your eyes are depthless pools of
The clearest water that I could
Swim in all day.
Mine are flat, nothing to look at.
Your voice, like dripping honey,
Makes me want to listen to you all day.
How can you stand to hear me speak?
My voice is of an untuned piano or
Scratching record.
Your movements, angelic and graceful,
Make me feel awkward and stiff.
When you smile, the whole world lights up,
Making every worry disappear.
So I shall ask again, but I will never know.
All I do know,
Never the less, is that I am yours,
And you are mine.
