Disclaimer: I own nothing. I don't even own the hiptop I am writing this on.

Author's Note: As stated in my preview for this chapter I am still a horrible person. I felt like I had lost the voices of the characters and honestly the will to write fanfic. It also doesn't help that I have crippling insecurities about my writing, hence why this has been unfinished since, Jesus Christ 2006! That being written, I am in some way going to write and finish this story. For the sole fact that people still randomly read it and review. I hope anyone who has done those things in the past can appreciate a girl trying her best here. There is no beta for this so all mistakes are mine. Be gentle.

Chapter Three

Sometimes in life there is silence so deafening that you can hear crickets chirp. Figuratively of course, expect now. Stunned to muteness, at the name of a woman both men avoided conversation of like it was their jobs, they just gawked at the young man. Dustin kept looking at the occupants of the table with sheer confusion and waited for something to be said. He was startled when one of the gentlemen began to cough uncontrollably.

"Are you alright! Jesus! Drink some water and contain yourself!" Justin quickly spat out while pushing the glass towards Duke. Wiping his mouth with the back of his hand, his narrowed eyes looked at the boy once more and said, "Viola Hastings. Like… Viola I dressed as my twin to play soccer and ended up mind-fucking me and now you are telling me that was her!" Justin was shocked at Duke, having not heard him speak of her in years. Dustin shuffled his feet clearly over this whole interaction and wanting to proceed with his evening.

"Listen, I don't know what she did to you but I can tell you this. First, she is that Viola who conned Coach and our school. Second, I would watch what I say about her. Even though he doesn't look it, he can kick your ass for speaking about her like that." Dustin nodded towards the bar at a tall man behind it, who was busying himself with something or he glanced briefly, there was no mistaking the resemblance of Viola and the man. It was her brother Sebastian. "And finally, I don't know how she exactly 'mind-fucked you', but it wouldn't be wise to speak ill of her in this place… it won't end well if you do." Dustin nodded at Justin and made his leave.

"What. Was. That!" Justin exclaimed loudly while Duke stared at the door. He continued to look at his friend, who just proceeded to stare blankly at the door. The crease on his forehead growing deeper as the seconds ticked on. Snapping his fingers in front of his face, Justin was starting to get concerned.

"Duke." More snapping, more blank staring. Not conscious of his surrounds he clapped loudly exclaiming, "ORSINO!" Jumping back in his booth Duke's eyes shot to Justin.

"Duke, where the hell did you just go?" Justin inquired unconcerned with the blonde, who's back stiffened instantly hearing the mans surname. Duke looked around the establishment in wonderment. Shaking his head slowly while rubbing his neck Duke mutter, "I don't know man. I don't know." Justin eyed him warily before taking a sip of his drink. Noticing that his friend wasn't about to open up he decided to make his way to the men's room. Upon exiting the facilities he heard hushed voices. Not catching the whole conversation only fragments. 'Orsino. I don't know. Sister. Crap'

"So I don't want to make this anymore awkward and twilight zone-ish than it already is..." Justin halted watching Duke make his Who are you kidding with face. "What! I don't. This is all very stressful for me. Not good for my ruggedly handsome face. Worry lines don't mix with this money maker." Crossing his arms on the table and plopping his head down Duke gave a sarcastic chuckle. "Like I was saying," he began relaxing into his seat finally getting some joy out of the situation. "I think well I'm about 99% certain the other Hastings sibling is not only here but works or possibly owns the joint."

Duke's neck snapped up so quick it make Justin wince. Eyes widening in a dramatic fashion he looked around at the diners. Crouching even further down into the booth Justin added, "Oh and I think they know you are here." If they didn't know it earlier the loud groan that escaped Dukes throat almost gave him away.

"You guys all good here?" Kylie the cute but way too young for them waitress asked. She glanced worriedly at Duke as Justin decided to see if his theory was correct. "Yeah great food just like we remember it. Hey quick question." Raising an eyebrow, grabbing the used plates she turned her head in acknowledgment, "Shoot."

Grinning madly flashing his playboy smile he asked, "Sebastian Hastings wouldn't happen to be the new owner would he?" Smiling widely she nodded towards the bar, "Yeah him and his wife Olivia bought it a few years back. Best bosses I've ever worked for. You know them?" Duke continued to laugh from underneath his arm. "Oh we are... old acquaintances."

Tossing money on the table probably more than was required, even with tip, Duke stood up. He needed to think about everything that had transpired in the last twenty or so minutes. Viola Hastings was home. What did he expect really. She had made it clear she wasn't going to follow him around the globe, having the career she rightfully deserved. They didn't exactly part on great terms. He thought they could make it through anything life threw at them. Looking back on it now, he could admit he wasn't exactly pleasant during their last fight. By the time the season had ended for him, he figured too much time had passed and she wouldn't be pleased to see, let alone speak to him.

He could hear the heavy footfalls of his best friend behind as he reached for the door to open it. "Duke... Duke Orsino?" He heard a hesitant voice behind him. Steeling his back I guess I am doing this now he thought as he turned slowly around.

"It's been a while." Oh it has.

I am personally going to respond back to anyone who has an account with an apology.

This isn't as long but I am working on Chapter 4. I do not plan to make this a long story :)
