The Mysterious Belly Buttons

--- Dib's house, same time ---

"...And he didn't even know what a belly button was! He kept asking what they did, and the kid in my class called him an alien. Maybe they're starting to catch on. That would be so AWESOME! Then I wouldn't have to fight Zim alone. Humans standing side by side, to protect the earth from...ZIM!" Dib rambled on, twitching as he raised his fist into the air. Gaz stared at him, rolling her eyes. She was so sick of him.

"What gave you the impression that I care?" Gaz asked, turning her attention to the television. She grabbed the remote, turning up the volume so she didn't have to hear Dib babbling. "Stoopid." She mumbled under her breath. She was getting so sick of him lately.

"Gaz, you just don't understand. If I don't fight Zim, no one will. And then he will win. The earth will be taken over by aliens. I can't stand by and let that happen!" Dib shouted over the television. Gaz clenched her jaw, shutting off the television and shooting daggers at Dib's head with her eyes.

"Stop following me." Gaz began to walk away, but Dib followed, close on her heels and still talking. She ran into the bathroom, closing and locking the door behind her. At least Dib couldn't get her in there - and if he did, well, then he had some problems.
