Pretty simple. RoxSo pairing. A play.. Romeo and Juliet. Just a little piece of the book I picked when I was looking through it the other day. There should be more RoxSo.. I remember when KH2 just came out.. I was in a tizzy because there was none! xD

I don't own Kingdom Hearts. At all.

Enjoy.

Dear Desire

It was a play.

That's all it was.

Or at least, that's all Roxas kept telling himself. It was just a play. Nothing more than words someone else wrote, and he was the doll with someone else's voice erupting from his lips. With the hot lights running its ghostly fingers over his sweating flesh, and the eyes of the audience falling upon him in stare, he had only his conscience to soothe him.

"Have not saints lips, and holy palmers too?"

He was sure he stuttered over a few words, gesturing his hands about, words falling from his lips almost soundless. But the microphone ejected the noise, capturing the gasps or the chuckles it intended. Descending upon the audience, his audience, was a trance of the performance. When silence filtered throughout the room, it held thick with the concentration. This is why Roxas began to sweat.

But damn.

His eyes ran over his partner who he had to help him conquer this stage, knowing that the male looked different than when he practiced at rehearsals. Maybe it was the glamour of the play, his role being so indifferent than all others. But the brunette claimed it well, considering it fit him so perfectly. Just like you needed a funny person to portray a humorous character, you need a beautiful person to portray a gorgeous character.

And Sora looks gorgeous.

"Ay, pilgrim, lips that they must use in prayer." Sora said with freshly harvested emotion, throwing his voice to the audience, capturing them himself.

Roxas countered with his own taste of drama, "O, then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do. They pray; grant though, lest faith turn to despair."

"Saints do not move, though grant for prayers' sake." The words from Sora's lips also came out slightly clumbsy, but the look in his eyes capture's Juliet's virgin love almost perfectly. Roxas had to fight his smile from breaking through. This is why he joined this play.

"Then move not, while my prayers' effect I take."

And Romeo kissed Juliet's lips.
