Kiba felt something wet drop onto his nose. He stared into the clouds. It was raining. He hated the rain.

It had rained on the fatal mission when they lost Shino.

It had rained on the day when their baby was to be born.

It had rained on the day when Akamaru had barked his last noise.

It had rained... It had rained.

Kiba was convinced the rain was the cause of all of their troubles. But, alas, he could not stop the rain, as he could not have stopped the death of their loved ones.

Kiba stood in his home and wrapped his arms around his wife. It was the anniversary of of their first loss. She cried into his arms, sobbing, falling, raining. He pressed Hinata's face to his chest.

Kiba may not be able to stop the rain, but he sure as hell was going to try.
