Practice
Today was the day, Hinata decided. She would try to overcome her shyness and ask out Naruto.
Of course, she'd been telling herself that for the past few weeks. Still, she had been making progress. Hinata had been talking to herself in a mirror, like practicing a speech, trying to come up with the best way to ask Naruto out.
In the end, she just thought it would be best to go with something simple, try to sound casual and calm.
Oh , that would be hard.
Hinata said the words in her head, Naruto, would you go out with me? Excuse me, Naruto? If you weren't to busy, would you like to go somewhere this weekend?
She didn't even have to say the words and they made her blush like crazy.
Hinata guessed that Naruto would be at the Ichiraku Ramen Shop. As she walked there, she practiced the words in her mind again.
"Oh!" Well, there was Naruto. It looked like he was just finishing eating ramen. Her walk got slower, and Hinata started to look down at the ground.
"Hey, Hinata!" And her head snapped up again. Naruto was running towards her, waving.
Before Hinata could even say anything, Naruto grinned and started saying something.
"Hinata, I was wondering, do you want to go out with me?"
Hinata distinctively remembered saying "yes" before fainting.
