You may think of this as a fairy tale. Maybe you'll laugh and tell me I'm lying, but I'm not.

This is a story of a little girl.

How she was hated at first, but then was loved by many.

The day of her birth wasn't well known. She came into the world unnoticed October first. Her mother died during childbirth, and her father died during a mission before she was even born. She was an orphan and was being sent to Hoshigakure soon to her mother's cousin, her new caretakers.

The arrival of the Fourth Hokage's son will be a celebration for the village. He was to be born in secret though, and I was able to come to learn the reason why later in in life. Sadly, the night of his birth, October tenth, was the most devastating day for Konaha for many love ones lost that night. For childbirth is when the seal for any female Jinchuriki weakens, and the Nine tails, the very definition of hatred, couldn't wait to try to escape.

The masked man came that night, but he didn't come alone. Nobody was prepared for the destruction.

He brought another demon and a sinister plan to extract the Nine Tails sealed within the Fourth Hokage's wife, Kushina. He brought another Nine Tails, one that has a bad history with the one sealed away. The masked man plans to steal the Nine Tails that was sealed away, and if Konoha is destroyed in the progress, then so be it.

While the Fourth Hokage was busy trying to protect his newborn son, the masked man was able to extract Nine Tails from Kushina. It was stroke of luck the Third Hokage, who was retired, was able to sense that something was wrong during childbirth. When intelligence came back with news that two Nine Tails were on the outskirts of Konoha, he knew right then and there that they needed a Jinchuriki for the new threat.

That was when the little orphan girl, who was due to be sent away, was chosen to be the new Jinchuriki for the new threat terrorizing Konoha.

The Third, who learn how to seal from Kushina, was able to seal the newcomer into the orphan with the help of backup. Sadly, the Fourth and his wife perished that night. Their son was to be considered a hero for being used to contain the destructive force of Nine Tails, thus saving the lives of many people.

The unknown orphan was then taken away to Hoshi a week later, forgotten. No one knew of her sacrifice, or thought of how her life would forever be affected by this event.

This is the story of me, Ai Yuhi.
